Il Pomod’oro Paris 5 — Restaurant in Paris

I had reserved a table for 4 as my family was visiting for the weekend. It was CONFIRMED and everything, when we show up they ask to see our confirmation. When we are pulling it up, a couple walked in speaking italian to what we assumed was the waiter and immediately got seated. The owner then told us they don't know how our reservation got confirmed and that they did not confirm it and they had "no more space". Left the restaurant hungry and extremely dissatisfied. Small tiny spot. Super casual. No outside seating. Which was good for us bc it was mid July and hot! We were 15,000 steps in on our day, and in dire need of a pick me up… walked in, got a table, it was around 7pm in Paris… we ordered a margherita pizza to share and it was absolutely delicious. I am picky. This was like in Roma! Classic, simple, good. And we went on to finish shopping and had a proper French dinner about 2 hours later, but it got us thru and the waiter could not have been better. Amen spoke 6 languages! French, Spanish, English and a couple more! But more importantly, he was so good and so lovely in writing this...

We arrived here looking forward to having a nice Italian meal on our first night in Paris. We ordered a pizza and 2 pastas. The pizza came first and was enjoyable however, we ordered two different pastas which were over cooked and tasted the exact same. On the bill the pasta was more expensive than on the menu. The waiter could not have been less Interested in our custom - kept sitting people down and going back outside to sit on his phone. Had to ask the next table for their Parmesan cheese to put on our pasta (as the waiter was outside) to which the lady stated ‘it will make it...
