I couldn’t be more happy and satisfied with the entire experience at Tamarind. First of all, food is extremely good and well served with many vegan options. Really, the best curry I have tried in Paris (and not only). I had the Kaeng phed jeh (veggi red curry) and it was really really good. All the textures and tastes of all ingredients are finely selected. The plate is just way too good. The desserts are delicious and greatly elaborated. The matcha flan with with violet ice cream is just amazing! Besides the good food, the staff is overwhelmingly friendly and welcoming. They made the experience exceed the expectations. On top of everything I had a migraine at the end of the evening and the staff was very responsive and cooperative and gave me a pain killer without hesitation In a very fast manner. The restaurant is lovely and cosy with nice unique details like the hand made and elaborated menus. The price is more than fair for the quality of the food and the service. I will definitely come back… several times! #vegetarian #food #dinner

The best Thai I've ever had anywhere! We were visiting Paris from London and had a delicious meal here on a weekday- we didn't have a reservation but managed to get a table for two. We can't speak French very well and the lovely staff were able to speak some English for us to say what we wanted to order. The food was fresh, piping hot and deliciously seasoned- so aromatic and perfectly salted! The king prawns were massive and served with a lush red Thai curry. The vegetables in oyster sauce were so flavourful and the veg was cooked perfectly al dented so they weren't soggy. Even the side dips were excellent! Amazing service. Will definitely come back here again when we are back in Paris!

We have tasted Thai food all over the world and this one is among the top. Pleasant atmosphere- rough stone walls are decorated with paintings of Buddha face, golden temple, large bamboo sticks invoking homeland. Artistic presentation - steamed sea bass in red curry was served in two small baskets wrapped in bamboo leaves - they almost look like a petit quiche. Green curry with chicken and bamboo shoots was perfectly spiced and served in a small pot. (It would have been perfect had there been some vegetable in the fish dish) Red tea custard and white chocolate mouse topped off the meal with perfect lightness and sweet. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend this cozy restaurant

Le meilleur restaurant Thaï! My husband and I have been coming here since they opened over 15 years ago and when we used to live in Paris we would visit the restaurant a lot. The owner and her sister are really nice, the service has always been great, and the food is amazing and we tend to always go for the same dishes, and they taste just as good as the first time we came to the restaurant, so it’s always a consistent experience. We left Paris 11 years ago but every time we come back to Paris we always have to go there, and the owner remembers me and we talk about how there is no Thai restaurant in London as good as theirs. This time we brought our 3 year old and they were happy to make a plain noodle dish for her and also allowed her to snack on her own things that we brought along. So happy to see this place is still going strong after all...
