A very clean, calm, and cool place to eat... if salmon is your thing. We ordered the grandes assiettes which is a sampling of various things like smoked salmon, poached salmon, salmon eggs, marinated salmon, etc. It comes with three types of sliced bread and a side dish. I have to recommend the warm potatoes over the salad or the cold potato option. It was a good experience overall but it does seem almost overkill on the salmon... if you order too much and grow tired of all that smoked salmon they will pack little takeaway containers for you. I think I would have been more satisfied if there had been more choices of sides to balance out the many samplings of salmon.

I was expecting something more, but then I realized I’m not in a restaurant but in a mini market of caviars and products from Scandinavia. The quality of individual product is good, expensive but good. The sauces and garnitures as side need to be understood and with a strange taste, I leave it to the expert to judge if the original recipes are made the same way. The service is literally as cold as paris in the winter. The best thing is honestly the multi-cereal bread, that you need to pay. A place to discover and tried once, but unfortunately not a neighborhood place you wish to go often.

Great discovery, walk by so many times just too early, or today to go in, finally today. ….I had a smooth Faroese salmon on an excellent brown, very grainy bread, an excellent glass of Vouvray. I tried a cheese Piroshki for a first time, it was good. I took for home Apple strudel, a salmon Koulibiac and a “lentils Beluga caviar” salad. Great discovery right nearby the Paris Historique, another great place to visit if you are into high end history and culture.

We noticed this place while walking by, being attracted by the shop counter covered by huge pieces of salmon, canapés and other really inviting dishes. When we went back for lunch on the next day, we discovered a world of options including different types of salmon and caviar, as well as other scandinavian dishes, homemade salads and desserts. Everything was very tasteful and well served. It is also possible to but some food to take home. Excellent service, friendly and very knowledgeable staff. If we had stayed another day in Paris, we would have definitely gone back to try other specialties. See...
