Traiteur Sea Chiv — Restaurant in Paris

Okay you need to NOT TRUST this fake self-made rating. I rarely review anything but I bought food for me and my kids there and I literally had to bag it all up and return it - Chewy Nems? Like made at least a week ago? Chicken and ribs that had been sitting there for god knows how long? Of course it impacted the taste. This is food you cannot mess up - and I am sure it is fine when they first cook it but you can't leave shrip chicken and pork sit there for a week. Nobody could eat it... and I like the type of food to begin with. The guy is located in a nice neighborhood between quality shops so you would never imagine that he would sell food not fit for dogs but nobody could even eat a second bite of "caramelized Chicken" or "Pork Ribs" - How do Pork Ribs turn bad? How many days do they have to sit there in his front store to become that bad? Unbelievably disrespectful of a clientele that is ready to pay him handsomely for cheap food that would ne better just about anywhere else - it would be a practical place but it was unedible. From me, my wife, my two kids, and we were hungry and not expecting anything great... it was just BERK! It was disrespectfully bad. I bagged it all up walked back to the store and asked him how long ago he had cooked it. Not wanting a scandal he returned my money... He knew full well that he had sold us food that would not pass a bacteria test or secure him a city licence in New York. I grew up in paris I love a good chinese or Vietnamese Traiteur I fully trusted that of ALL the selections we would get at least SOME decent food, but even pork ribs were making my kid nauseous. This is more a HEALTH SAFETY VIOLATION report than a food review. I'm sure it's fine whatever day it's first cooked but when you feel food has been put on display over 5-6 days ago I am sorry but that deserves a PUBLIC NOTICE because someone will get really sick eating from there if he...

Pendant mon séjour à Paris, je suis tombé un peu par hasard sur ce traiteur chinois, et ça a été une véritable révélation. Franchement, je ne m’attendais pas à une telle qualité à ce prix-là. Tout était excellent : des plats savoureux, bien assaisonnés et généreusement servis. Mention spéciale pour les rouleaux de printemps et les nems, croustillants et pleins de goût — un vrai délice.

Le choix est varié, les produits sont frais, et tout est préparé avec soin. L’endroit est propre, le service rapide, et l’accueil agréable. On sent que chaque plat est fait avec attention, et ça fait toute la différence.
