Truskel — Restaurant in Paris

Although set in a neighborhood reputed for its electronic clubs, le Truskel is one of the most popular and interesting rock venues in Paris. This uncommonly friendly alternative venue styles itself as a “microclub,” which is not a bad description, for it feels just as much late music bar as nightclub. Le Truskel attracts a young, groovy crowd keen to flirt, dance and make new friends. Despite turning into something of a meat market on weekends, it has managed to retain its authentic allure. With nightly DJs and a soundtrack ranging from 1950s rock ’n’ roll to New Wave, indie and punk, reasonably priced drinks, and the fact that it stays open until you can take the first Métro home, Le Truskel is a good bet if you’re determined to enjoy a very late night. Rather unusually for a Parisian venue that opens so late, there is no cover charge. Was a great place to see locals mingling. The DJ was good but there was little to no one actually in the same room with him. No dancing. So felt a little underwhelming. However, we stayed for a few drinks regardless. Caution, they use a smoke machine extensively so avoid if you have respiratory...

Un avis de consommateurs lambda qui tape " bar rock/métal Paris " et qui débarque là au hasard.

Alors.... y'a un barman fan d'electro de base mais qui est le seul à comprendre l'ambiance qu'on cherche quand on vient ici.... problème il est intérims.... enfin... en renfort.... vous comprenez.... pour les officiels, demandez du rock vous aurez le choix entre "Téléphone" et "Kyo" demandez quelque chose de plus pêchu, on vous dévisagera tel l'alcoolique que vous cherchez à être dans cet endroit, sans jamais l'être.

Bref cool sur le papier .... se dit super open quand tu rentres (forcément on était 2 facile d'etre gentil) mais 0. Merci au renfort d'avoir négocier quelques morceaux. (Iron Maiden limite longue de l'acceptable pour le barman permanent). Même quand t'es le seul client c'est une tare de demander un morceau.
