La Palais Brongniart is an absolutely iconic venue, and it was a privilege to attend a conference (Follow Me) there—let alone get on stage myself! The building itself is stunning, blending history with a modern touch that makes it perfect for high-profile events. The stage setup was fantastic, and the event organizers did a great job ensuring everything ran smoothly.
The spaces were well-designed, with plenty of room to navigate, and the facilities, including the toilets, were clean and well-maintained. Everyone I interacted with was helpful and professional, adding to the overall positive experience.
On a lighter note, I did manage to lose a shoe (a casualty of a quick change for the stage). While that’s entirely on me, it added an unexpected anecdote to the day!
All in all, La Palais Brongniart is an incredible venue, and I’d love to attend more events here in the future. Highly recommended for anyone planning or attending...
Read moreThis hotel has 6 floors and the lift does not work! It hasn’t worked for weeks and they do not tell you before you arrive. We were given a room on the 4th floor and after climbing the steep narrow staircase we were wrecked! Very bad policy not to tell guests BEFORE they book or arrive. Anyone with a disability or injury or even an older person could have great difficulty getting to their room. The breakfast room is in the basement down an even smaller staircase ( had to bend down to stop hitting my head) and it was like a sauna cave! Too hot too clammy and tiny space. Horrible experience staying in this hotel. The staff were friendly but apart from that DO NOT STAY HERE unless you confirm that the lift works. It should be illegal to sell a room on a 6th floor with no lift without informing the...
