Great neighborhood spot! I felt very welcome and everyone was so friendly. We tried three small things this time and will return to try more. The eggplant was especially delicious. Always love seeing anchovies on a menu. Yum! The broccolini had a little too much batter on it for my taste. The romescu sauce on it was tasty. Nice wine selection. The space has a lot of hard surfaces so can get loud. I wouldn’t mind having a cushion on the chairs. Overall, I really enjoyed coming here and highly recommend it if you’re in the neighborhood.

Exit Blanche Metro, avoid the Moulin Rouge and head 200 metres downhill towards L’Opera. This vibey little restaurant is on a corner and coloured green - not at all vermillion. We were there at lunch and the food, atmosphere and service were all first class. Run by three very busy chaps (at least 2 the owners), it was the best meal I have had on this visit. Even enjoyed the Beaujolais which is not generally one of my preferred styles. Would return anytime

They were perfectly briny and just a squeeze of lemon was all you need. I wanted to go back to try more dishes here but I missed the lunch service. The mussels with chili oil sounded good, too. There’s inside and outside seating and the wine selection was great!

We were there at lunch and the food, atmosphere and service were all first class. Run by three very busy chaps (at least 2 the owners), it was the best meal I have had on this visit. Even enjoyed the Beaujolais which is not generally one of my preferred styles. Would return anytime

There were very good vegetarian options here. Just ask! The artichoke with cherry balsamic was wonderful but the real treat were the oysters. They were perfectly briny and just a squeeze of lemon was all you need. I wanted to go back to try more dishes here but I missed the lunch service. The mussels with chili oil sounded good, too. There’s inside and outside seating and the wine selection was great!

This place is the best restaurant I have been to in all of Paris. I am an American and have been to Paris many many times and have been to hundreds of restaurants here. I have never met an owner more accommodating or had better food (even the fine dining restaurants). Also, if you want a truly French experience that is not a tourist trap, with workers that speak English this is your place. If you come to Paris and don’t come here you ARE missing out on the hidden...
