Garbage. Crap. Basura. Junk.
Where do I start with this dumpster fire?
The crappy outside? The dated exterior? The faded colors? The dirtiest restaurant front on earth?
Nah. Let’s start from the beginning.
I wanted mussels in a white wine sauce. Easy enough. The usual choice was gone. I found this place.
The reviews were great. It had to be the one. I made reservations. Months in advance. I was all set to go.
Then. I travel across the planet to get my mussels. Yay!
Then the day before I arrive they change my reservation. They back it up a hour. Ok.
Alas. We arrive in Paris. Time to go.
We arrive at 7pm. The earliest you could get there. First ones in the restaurant. Yay!
Open the door. Damn. This place is small. And dark.
Get seated. I pull out my chair. It has bread crumbs on it. Ok. You can’t clean? Handed a menu. Then a chalkboard. The specials.
Guess what. Overpriced crap. I take the time to peruse the menu. Guess what. Crap. All crap. Total crap.
I have seen some bs menu prices before, but these take the cake.
Anyway. Walked out. On the way out. We noticed the floor.
What a mess. Do these guys know what cleaning is? Apparently not. They don’t know what a vacuum is.
Anyhow. Do yourself a favor....
Read moreFrom the outside it looks very nice. HOWEVER that is only from the outside! First off the food is really not good. We had sand in all the seashells we ate. The oysters were not opened properly and we had chunks of the shell inside the oyster. The shrimp were not really fresh and very soggy due to the amount of time they spent on ice or maybe in the freezer. The food choice is quite limited for a seafood and seashells restaurant, we would expect some crabs more choices of fish etc The crêpe suzette was filled with pastry cream, and should not be called a suzette. The service is as bad as the food. We didn't get any aprons and had stains on our shirts. We almost had to beg for bread and water.
At the end of the dinner we didn't get fingers bowls which is very common in seafood restaurants, neither did we get hand wipes.
To add insult to injury the restaurant is quite expensive slightly more than the good parisian seafood restaurants
I am not saying not to go there, I recommend to go there if you truly like to get...
Read moreWorst service. They pretend to be a nice restaurant but their wine glasses are full of fuss, and they treat you like crap. The food was good, but being treated like crap makes anything good feel bad. They gave us a bad table, in between 2 other couples when the whole restaurant was empty, told us that they were all reserved, but by the end of our meal at 22.30, the place was still empty. They either have a high rate of no-show or they are just bad. It took 20 min to get our wine and water. We saw our wine dispensed from the bar where it sat for 10 min while the waiter was wondering around. The waiter made an elderly local couple wait so long that they stood up to pay. No wonder the restaurant next door and across the street are packed and this...
