I think personally that this is one of the best, if not the best, Lebanese restaurant in the Strasbourg area! Great choice and excellent presentation of delicious delicacies from Lebanon! As soon as you step in, you will be transported to another country! From the atmosphere to the decorum, everything feels like a vacation, an experience beyond just the food. We've had the chance to experience belly dancing and music making our evening even more of an unforgettable memory! Food-wise everything was perfect! Service was pleasant and quite frankly amongst the fastest of the city. We had the Mezze, cold and warm, quite frankly there was plenty to go around! We couldn't finish all the food unfortunately! Prices are very reasonable considering.

Will return and highly recommend for anyone looking for amazing Lebanese food...

Food : the main dishes were okay but not tasty. For dessert, we took the blaklava... hard as a rock, disgusting and overpriced for the amount you get. Were they frozen? Service : was fine. Atmosphere : so little light in the room that it's a struggle to even see the food in front of you. They put a small lamp on each table to offer you a source of light, but it's just annoying when you want to share dishes because you have to put it on the side and then you don't see what you're eating. Would it be so complicated to put more light into the room and remove the stupid little lamps?! This restaurant wants to be chic but...

I had lunch here with my Lebanese friend, and it was great. The best way to enjoy Lebanese cuisine is to order several dishes together and share them: we had white broad beans, fattoush salad, and hummus from cold mezzes. For the main dish, we had the shish tawook which was served with bulgur in tomato sauce. All dishes were delicious and as confirmed by my Lebanese friend, tasted authentic. The portion was quite generous, and we had some food left on the plate. They also serve Lebanese wines. The staff was friendly and pleasant. Highly recommended.

A wonderful Lebanese meal at Au Cedre in the center of Strasbourg with a couple of good colleagues. (It didn’t hurt that one was Lebanese and the other Moroccan.) The service, food and atmosphere were perfect. Delicious grilled meats and mezze. Kibbeh, stuffed grape leaves, chicken and beef shawarma, lamb, hummus, tabbouleh salad. It was the best middle eastern meal I’ve had since leaving the Gulf. A big plus are the wines from Lebanon, which I think are up with any.

I can’t speak for any other dishes, or what other Arabic/Lebanese food is around town, but our shish tawook dishes, falafel, fattoush and hummus were all delicious! It was a bonus for us non-French speaking out-of-towners to have staff communicate perfectly in English with us. Our waiter Emilio was super nice and very attentive. We will definitely be coming back!! Food: 5/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 Service: 5/5
