Update: Your response shows your attitude that you canât take any feedback. FYI, we never praised the food and we informed about the salty and sour taste of paneer as soon as we got the food. Cheap attitude about your customers and thinking that they are seeking discount, shows that you donât care about any feedback. Heights of arrogance when you said that review will be reported. You served us Turkish cheese instead of Paneer and itâs a fact that it tasted horrible.
Initial Feedback: I regret ever coming to this restaurant. The food was unauthentic ( Itâs wasnât even Indian food ) The service was terrible, it wasnât an Indian restaurant it was a Pakistani/Turkish restaurant but they used the name âIndianâ to get more attention. Above all, The paneer (Indian cheese) was actually Turkish⊠Indian paneer is less salty and less sour but they inversed the tastes hence, ruining the taste of the curry. Next: The Owner acted extremely rude and disrespectful towards his customers and when we politely gave him our honest opinion about the paneer, he denied the fact that the paneer wasnât proper. He also made up excuses such as : the Covid 19 stopped the cheese imports from India. He also said that Indian paneer wasnât available in Strasbourg (I highly doubt it ) Lastly he told us that he has been working in this restaurant for 40 years and told us that our feedback was useless. We visited this place on April 1st, 2023 around 7:30 p.m. for dinner. We were seven people in total. The food was not authentic at all. Furthermore, the service exhibited a sense of haste and urgency that appeared to prioritize expediency over attentiveness to customers' needs. Moreover, they failed to attend to our concerns and criticisms in a professional and attentive manner. Despite expressing our dissatisfaction, the owner did not take the time to listen to our feedback or provide a satisfactory response. This lack of receptiveness to customer criticism is disheartening and fails to meet the expected standards of customer service in the restaurant industry. The attitude towards us was dismissive and brusque, displaying little interest in making our dining experience a pleasurable one. They brought the bill to us without us even asking for it. In addition, the food served was unauthentic and fell far below the expected standards of the cuisine it purported to represent.    Read moreDespite the fact that many people have rated high for this restaurant I can barely rate it to a star. The good side is the food is great and taste nice. The service is not what you would expect from an exorbitant restaurant. From the time the food is ordered and served the restaurant etiquette seems to be ignored. A few plates are carried simultaneously while one can observe the fingers of the waiter touching the food. We were a group of 8 people including 4 children. Compare to the standard we are used to in restaurants in London, this is incomparable. Even the kids agree. We ordered Lamb madras to be served lamb tikka and the waiter convinced you it is. Even the kids orders were mixed up. I would definitely say this restaurant has a lot to improve on their customer relations. I have never been in a restaurant in the United Kingdom where after having your food, when clearing the table, the waiter keeps asking you to pass your plates.
