In response to the hosts: I’ve attached closer photo or egg whites and brown avocado. I’d willingly pay even more if only the quality would match the price. That’s really bizarre taking your time to identify me and what i’ve said. I come to the cafes to eat and have a good time and not to manage your work nor to spend my time on conflicts. It’s the work of your chef to make sure you serve well cooked dishes. And mine is to prevent « tourists » that your chef can’t cope with it.

One of the most delightful brunch spots you can find! Every item on the menu is carefully crafted, and the quality of the ingredients is evident from the very first bite. The Waffle Brunchie and Brunchie Bénédicte are absolute standouts — perfectly cooked eggs, fresh vegetables, and a beautiful balance of flavors in every bite. Es ist immer wieder spannend, wie unterschiedlich Geschmäcker und Eindrücke sein können:

Meine Freundin und ich haben uns aufgrund der vielen guten Bewertungen für das Brunchie entschieden. Der Laden ist ganz süß und okay eingerichtet. Allerdings roch es beim Reinkommen vorne etwas muffig (vielleicht wegen der umliegenden Grachten?) und hinten eher nach Lack oder frischer Farbe, was nicht besonders einladend war.

Wir bestellten beide einen Smoothie – oder besser gesagt, das, was als Smoothie bezeichnet wurde. Leider war es kein echter Smoothie, sondern einfach nur Saft mit Eiswürfeln. Ein Smoothie sollte doch eine cremige Konsistenz haben, oder? Geschmacklich hat er uns auch nicht überzeugt, aber wir haben ihn ausgetrunken, weil wir dachten, dass er wenigstens gesund ist. Für 6,20 € aber definitiv enttäuschend.

Zum Essen: “Unterirdisch” wäre vielleicht zu hart, aber es war maximal gerade so okay. Frisch war es zwar und nett angerichtet, aber richtig satt wird man nicht – es sei denn, man hat wirklich nur einen sehr kleinen Hunger. Es fehlten Gewürze und insgesamt einfach Geschmack. Ich war schon in vielen Ländern brunchen, und leider gehört dieser Brunch zu den schlechtesten, die ich erlebt habe. Der Preis von 16 € ist absolut nicht gerechtfertigt. Für 10 € hätte ich es noch akzeptiert, aber so passt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis überhaupt nicht. Dabei gebe ich gerne auch mehr Geld aus, wenn die Qualität stimmt – hier war das leider nicht der Fall.

Positiv war der wirklich nette Service: Die Dame, die uns bediente, war super freundlich, ebenso ihre Kollegin. Auch die Deckendekoration fand ich ganz charmant. Aber leider reicht das nicht aus, um den Rest wettzumachen. Das ist, wie gesagt, nur die persönliche Meinung meiner...
