Visited the palais rohan during the nuit des musées that was held on the 18th of may this year. Stood in line for 40 minutes because of the importance of this place that was free to visit that night ... Its importance is due to the fact that it was visited by many diplomats and famous historical figures ex napoleon ... We were entertained by a band that was amazing playing in the court yard with a lot of passion. The archeological museum was very intresting, most of the decorative art museum was closed for lack of staff maybe however the important parts where still open. I was not happy with two things The lack of information about the pieces inside of the palace... The unorganized umbrella deposit area at the door.

Someone obviously took it and i hope it was a mistake ... however it was vexing since the staff can't do much about it, it was raining and leaving without your umbrella is really unfortunate and then the only thing they can do is to ask us to send an email .... It wasn't the only umbrella that was taken by mistake or not that night... And it is very unfortunate to leave that lovely palace with that memory... So maybe better organization next time is needed.... As far for our umbrella... well its still...

Definitely great to visit on a bad weather day like I had.
Warning there is a lunch break around 1 or 2 when the museums are closed, with ZERO signage anywhere about this. Typically...
