Alright, let me get this straight: You can get pretty good food here and the pricing is reasonable. However, if you ask them to make it spicy and they don't think you'll like it, instead of putting spicy sauce, they'll put two tons of black pepper in the dish, which for one extra and a headache is not a good deal. Buy their sriracha or something, do it yourself... If they don't like what you represent to them they'll intentionally ruin your food. And yes, I do know the difference between tasty hot and pure black pepper. Do not try me!
I only warned them of my allergies and there you go; ruined food. I don't tell them about it and it's great. What kind of service is that? They may have the American fake smile and enthusiasm you'll have come to expect in US chains but the French don't tend to have been protestant. They'll ruin your meal if you so much as slightly inconvenience them. That'll be 10€ down the drain for no reason other than your biology.
I will return only for the base stuff but anything extra and you're in for a wild ride. Usually a bad one though...

This did not incite any reaction from them whatsoever! In their place I would at the least one clean it with disinfectant and be a little apologetic about it. The staff was not unfriendly otoh.
It is marketed as fast food - we waited around 20 minutes for our food. We thought it might actually be good if it was prepared within such a delay.
To our disappointment, the food was extremely bland! Thai food and curries in particular should be some of the most outspoken of flavourful foods you will ever eat - my curry dish had as much taste as a cucumber.
My wife's dish also contained a hard, sharp piece of what we assumed/hoped would be plastic. Definitely a choking...

The food itself was tasty, but it arrived a bit cold, with sauce spilled on the side of one plate. And while coriander was listed as an ingredient, the tiny garnish you see in the picture was all we got, unlike other Pitaya locations, which never skimp on ingredients. The tables weren’t very clean either. Overall, a decent meal, but underwhelming compared to the high standard I’ve come to expect. Pitaya Strasbourg, you...
