May 2025 update: Stopped by for dinner on a Saturday without reservation and we were seated immediately. Menu is extensive, service is very friendly and efficient with hot plates of food being delivered to the table just a few minutes after ordering â very impressive! I always order the black pepper beef and noodles which is always tasty and delicious. This is the place to come if you are looking for very good Chinese food delivered quickly after ordering.
December 2024 update: Stopped by on a Saturday evening and again we were seated promptly as only a few tables were occupied. Overall again the service was very good and food was served hot and most was delivered promptly after placing our orders except for the steamed dumplings. Unfortunately, the biggest negative thing to say here is that I had food poisoning that lasted 24 hours from something I ate (I suspect it was the shrimp that were not fresh and tasted off). As I said previously, more care and attention must be given to preservation and preparation of items cooked and served in this restaurant - until I am assured that the restaurant has taken this feedback seriously and have made the necessary changes, I will not be back.
September 2024 update: Stopped by on a Wednesday afternoon around 12noon and were seated promptly as only a few tables were occupied. Overall again the service was very good and food was served hot and delivered promptly after placing our orders. Menu items were served hot and were tasty. Would like to see a bit more care and attention given to items cooked and served.
August 2023: Our small group of five stopped by on a Monday evening without reservation and were seated promptly after arrival. Although it took a few minutes to take our order after drinks, overall service was very good and food was served hot and delivered promptly after placing our orders.
Started with a large Shrimp Spring Roll (Cold) which was fresh and tasty. Also ordered the Small Spring Rolls (Nem), steamed shrimp dumplings, Scallops with Spicy Sauce and Shrimp in Fritters which were also served hot and tasty.
For the main course, ordered Beef with Black Pepper and mushrooms which was my favorite dish served on a hot platter which kept the beef hot. Also ordered the Fillet of Lamb with Black Pepper which was also served on a hot platter and was very tasty. The green vegetable Liseron d'eau (water spinach) was also served hot and was very good.    Read moreRestaurant chinois avec principalement des spécialités cantonaise, situé proche de la gare de Torcy (un des premiers qu'on aperçoit juste en face arrivé sur l'esplanade). Le restaurant est tout récent est n'est ouvert que depuis le mois de juin mais il me semble trÚs prometteur. J'ai eu la chance de connaßtre ce restaurant grùce à une amie, Eva, dont les parents et l'oncle sont les gérants. Autant que les grands classiques restaurants cantonais de Paris 13e, la salle est grande, les clients sont quasiment tous asiatiques, et il y avait je trouve plutÎt pas mal de monde pour un dimanche midi dans un jeune restaurant. Cela me semble bon signe.
Le choix n'Ă©tait pas facile vu tout ce qui est proposĂ© mais je suis restĂ© sur les bases d'un bon cantonais : dim sum et rĂŽtisseries. â J'ai pris en plus un riz sautĂ© teochew pour changer, d'autant plus que mon amie me le conseillait parmi les diffĂ©rents plats de riz sautĂ©. La description qu'elle m'en avait donnĂ© m'a convaincu. :)
Concernant les dim sum, j'ai opté pour un assortiment à la vapeur. Les raviolis vapeur et bouchées étaient corrects. J'ai pris plaisir à les déguster, tous aussi bons les uns que les autres.
Pour ce qui est de la partie rĂŽtisseries, j'ai choisi la double rĂŽtisserie (vous l'aurez compris, quand il y a possibilitĂ© de goĂ»ter un maximum d'aliments diffĂ©rent, je saute dessus !), Ă savoir canard et porc laquĂ©. Pour le coup, j'ai eu une assez large prĂ©fĂ©rence pour le canard et beaucoup moins convaincu par le porc qui n'Ă©tait tout de mĂȘme pas mauvais. En plus d'avoir une belle couleur, le canard Ă©tait bien goĂ»teux. đ
J'ai vĂ©ritablement aimĂ© le riz sautĂ© teochew qui s'est effectivement rĂ©vĂ©lĂ© comme un excellent choix. Le riz sautĂ© Ă©tait une rĂ©ussite en plus d'ĂȘtre trĂšs complet avec les crevettes, le porc, les lĂ©gumes... tout ce que j'adore ! TrĂšs bon riz teochew ! đ
Mais ce n'est pas terminĂ© ! J'ai eu le privilĂšge de goĂ»ter un cocktail fait par Eva, cocktail offert en plus ! Il s'agissait d'un cocktail Ă base de rhum avec du citron, de la glace vanille et du coca. Le cocktail Ă©tait intĂ©ressant avec un mĂ©lange des saveurs convainquant pour une bonne homogĂ©nĂ©itĂ©.
