Le Royal Torcy — Restaurant in Torcy

Le Royal Torcy is a Chinese restaurant right across from a small lake, surrounded by apartment buildings. It's a nice spot, but parking is a headache—there’s no private parking and finding a spot nearby is really tough.

There aren’t any tables outside, and it can get pretty noisy inside, especially when it’s busy. So if you're looking for a quiet dinner, this might not be the place.

That said, the food is really good. The portions are generous, everything tastes homemade, and you can tell they use fresh, quality ingredients. The only letdown was the spring rolls (nems)—they tasted like something straight out of a factory, which didn’t match the rest of the meal.

I took the loc lac cause it's know to be a famous dish but you can only taste the sauce on the meat, they add too much bicarbonate at the point the meat became tasteless and tender.

The red rice taste like rice with tomatoes, it's not even sauté or anything else. At least they're generous in term of quantity but there's no point if the food's tasteless

Mon resto asiat préféré ! Quand maman ne veut pas me faire à manger et que je suis trop nostalgique de sa nourriture, c'est là que je me rend. Toujours satisfaite des plats que je prends. Cependant 1 étoile en moins car cette fois-ci, le Loc lac n'était pas très chaud et le service était assez folklo le serveur s'en va alors qu'on a pas fini la commande (on l'a appelé 4 fois pour 4 boissons pour 4 personnes différentes... d'habitude aucun souci avec lui..) certes, c'était le rush mais quand même c'était assez limite.. et également petit bémol pour les brochettes de bœuf, le goût était bon, un poil trop sucré mais pas dérangeant pour ma part mais beaucoup trop de nerf dans la viande ! (Malheureusement pas pris en photo, ce n'était pas mon plat mais je picore partout 😂). Le milkshake au durian, personnellement et ma mère aussi, on a trouvé qu'il avait moins le goût de durian. Sinon les pâtes de riz sautées aux fruits de mer toujours le même bon goût et toujours ce même serveur qui nous avait assurément nié et refusé la possibilité d'avoir du poulet (en "beignet") et pas simplement "sauté" à la sauce aigre douce alors qu'on en a déjà pris plusieurs fois, nous a finalement validé ce plat après concertation en cuisine et pareil, toujours aussi bon !
