As I went into the small, stuffy interior of foca foca, the staff repeatedly barged passed me due to the cramped space, after ordering a "parma" sandwich and waiting for over 30 minutes in the swealtering heat i thought i would be able to tuck in am enjoy this "sandwich". However upon opening this sloppy mess i was met with disappointment. The overwhelming stench of a barn was so potent it put me off my food and left me to question my choice of coming to this establishment. The taste was nothing to be desired either as i felt as if eating off a pigs hairy stomach after a long day in the sty. In a way it brought me back tk my childhood as i grew up on a farm myself however this was not whay i looked for in a sandwich. The ovens at this place did an excellent job at making sure the food all came out unrecognisable feom the next. This meamt there was no certainty to each bite leaving me on edge and distressed about what the next bite would hold. A member of my party couldnt even finish the foul sandwich because of the swine like taste and they later had repeted trips to the toilet possibly leaving a better smell than the agricultural sandwich. The drinks at this "restaurant" were good enough although rather on the sweet side and the employees did a great communicating the different options. Howver the price of said drinks was extortionate when compared to more tastleful establishments in thr vicinity. Overall this place is nothing more than a lazy thieving tourist trap that prays on unsuspecting vulnerable travellers who have cowrced by their social media efforts and gather like moths to a flame in am effort to pawn off their feral rancid...
Read moreScrumptious. Adorable. Warm. This is the kind of place I want to be a regular at. It’s small but intimate and the open kitchen makes it a communal experience. The staff have a laid back, relaxed attitude and sets the tone for the restaurant. All this being said the food still shines through. From the presentation to the taste, it’s spot on. Though keep in mind, if you want a taste of the arancini, you’re going to have to be there early on during the service, otherwise they’ll run out! And it’s absolutely worth being...
Read moreI totally recommend this place; don’t doubt coming here!! The food is incredible, the service is outstanding, and the ambiance is very cozy. I had the Parma focaccia, which paired perfectly with a glass of Montepulciano wine. If you’re in Toulouse, this is a must-visit! It was hands down my favorite restaurant during my trip to this beautiful city. I can’t wait to return. Huge thanks to the team for the fantastic food and...
