If there was an option for 0 stars on Google, this restaurant would get it and it’s a shame because it has a nice setting and is really well situated. Initially, we sat down and ordered fairly quickly- both drinks, as well as food. After 45 minutes of waiting for our food to come, we got the idea we’d been forgotten about and asked the waiter with regards to our order. There seemed to be no concern over what had happened, or any urgency in ensuring that this order be completed quickly, only that it would arrive soon - this happened around 30 minutes later. J'ai connu le comptoir à la une à sa fondation à la Roseraie et après près du Pont Neuf, qu'il est loin le temps de la générosité. Premier point l'accueil, un petit jeune sympa et poli, son homologue, une dame, on sent que l'accueil clientèle s'est pas vraiment sa tasse de thé ou qu'elle est fatigué de ce métier, c'est au choix. Les réponses aux questions sont minimalistes et sans aucun sourire ni once de bonne humeur. La cuisine, enfin les tapas, c'est très cher, 9€ en moyenne. Par exemple les nachos guacamole, à ce prix vous vous attendez à une belle quantité de Nachos, que nenni, on est sur la portion des petits paquets individuels, c'est risible. Les beignets de crevettes (X4), acheté 0,30€ pièces dans n'importe quel supermarché chinois sont revendus la encore à 9 ou 10€, ça pique. Le top, les croque monsieur du comptoir, 4 mini croque (1 croque coupé en 4) avec à l'intérieur je ne plaisante pas 3g de canard et un ongle de foie gras, le tout dans un pain demi même pas toasté. Franchement, bien heureux qu'ils aient de la clientèle, mais ça fait du mal à cette belle profession. L'inflation est la, mais elle n'oblige pas à ce moquer du client. Par contre, il y a quand même un point positif, les cocktails sont plutôt bons. Au final, 6 tapas qui représente disons 3 tapas dans la plupart des autres établissements offrant le même service (tout juste pour deux) + 4 cocktails 92,5€ soit 46,25€ par personne, à ce prix je mange dans des restaurants gastronomiques ou des beaux repas du...

Great wine and food in a popular venue. As a tourist visiting from the UK I was really happy to try this place as we were walking passed. A good selection of wines at reasonable prices (€4/5 per glass), with helpful staff for recommendations. The food is also high quality but order carefully if you're not a fan of 'posh' food.
