Pastel et Sarrasin — Restaurant in Toulouse

We went to Pastel et Sarrasin on our first day in Toulouse as I needed somewhere that could cater for Coeliacs. The staff were absolutely amazing, they understood the difference between coeliac and gluten intolerance perfectly and also advised me of their allergen control. I am glad to say that I had no issue with cross contamiation and the food was amazing for the price as I didn't need to eat much for the rest of day! I was also recommended another place that I could eat by one of the team and this was so nice as eating when away from home is very stressful for me! We returned on our last day before the flight and they were again incredibly courteous and remembered by favourite drink from our first visit. I highly recommend the Breton Whiskey - better than some Scottish Whiskeys by far! I can unreservedly recommend this restaurant for the food, the service from the all the staff and the price, it was a bargain and a lovely location for the city as well! This was our second visit to Pastel et Sarrasin as we visited during our last stay in Toulouse in 2022. As soon as we passed the restaurant in the street we remembered it and had to come back for another meal. The menu options are really interesting and the quality is very high so you’re getting a really good meal for your money and something a little different from the standard crêperie options (as delicious as they always are!). Of course you must have some cider to go with your galettes - the Brut de pression that we had was very pleasant. The staff are always very welcoming and friendly and service was at just the right pace....

We went for some lunch today, we ordered chicken wraps on crepes and I ordered the Curry Chicken with Purple Lemonade (I believe it was the Myrtille flavour) it was the best carbonated lemonade I ever tasted 😍♥️🍋

The ice cream desert was to die for as well, salted caramel and shaved chocolate topped with vanilla ice cream 🍨🍫 the best ice cream I’ve had so far in Toulouse 🤤🤤

The food was incredible on homemade blue wheat crepes and the price was very good for the food / service. I will come back my next trip to...
