Just a 7-minute walk from the Palace of Versailles, Crêperie des 2 Portes is a hidden gem tucked away in a quiet alley. It’s a cozy little spot with a few tables inside and plenty of outdoor seating—perfect for enjoying a great meal in a relaxed setting.
We started with the Grande Salade de la Mer, loaded with smoked salmon, shrimp, and scallops. It was fresh and tasty—a light, refreshing start. 8/10.
Then came the Gambas crepe, and wow—this one was amazing. Juicy shrimp and scallops, creamy cheese, and a flavorful red pepper purée all wrapped in a perfectly made crepe. Absolute flavor bomb. 10/10.
Next was the chicken kebab crepe with sautéed onions and tomatoes. Another winner—savory, well-seasoned, and satisfying. 10/10.
For dessert, we tried the crepe with pears, vanilla ice cream, and chocolate drizzle. It was okay, but didn’t wow us like the savory dishes. 5/10.
Overall, this place is a fantastic stop for anyone craving crepes near Versailles. Tasty food, friendly service, fair prices—what more...
Read moreI had no idea crepes could be so versatile. I thought they were just like sugar, butter, and nutella, but Creperie des 2 Portes opened my eyes to a great big world.
They had burger crepes, seafood crepes, kebab crepes, pepperoni crepes, etc. Anything you can think of, they can make it a crepe.
I MUST shout out our server, whose name I believe is Lea. I had a front row seat to greatness. She was the ONLY server working in a packed lunch rush, and that performance she put on was inspirational. She was doing the job of at least 4 people, and doing it damn well. We heard not one complaint from a customer. It's the best carry-job I've seen since watching LeBron carry a bum filled 2007 Cavaliers team to an NBA Finals.
I went with the seafood crepe, and that puppy came STACKED with prawns and scallops. These seared scallops were to die for.
My girlfriend got a charcuterie crepe that was aesthetically pleasing, but more importantly, delicious.
SHOUT OUT TO LEA!

Read moreWe stumbled on this place whilst exploring and were very happy we did as my wife's uncle had been wanting a savoury crepe since we arrived in Paris.
The staff were very friendly. We arrived on a Sunday not long before closing time, but you would not have known that as they just continued as normal and answered all the questions we had
The food arrived promptly and was delicious and generous portions. There is a single toilet but it was clean when we used this.
