Le Franco Belge — Restaurant in Versailles

Cozy little French pub with an impressive beer selection and friendly staff. I was drawn by the impressive list of couscous options, which are only served during the day. I had skipped lunch and was very hungry. However the portions were so big I couldn't even finish! I'm guessing they've got a North African cook as the couscous was amazing! The pub was frequented mostly by locals and students- everyone seems to know each other and are friendly with each other. This neighborhood is full of bars and restaurants and would be a fun place to hang out into...

We got there really late after driving from Germany, many places didn’t have food but they said the chef can make me a burger. I said yes no hesitation, one of the best burgers I have ever had. I’ve been to several bars in Versailles and it’s difficult to pick a winner. To my mind, this one wins. A good range of well priced beers (lovely Goudale) and heaps of atmosphere.
