Pizza Capri — Restaurant in Versailles

I recommend you go somewhere else - while the food we had was OK, the staff ripped us off: Among other items, I ordered one soup to be shared between my wife and I. They brought us the soup in two bowls, which I thought was kind of them, and didn't consider for a moment whether each was a half order (as ordered/expected) or not since they were very small portions. When the bill came they had charged us for two of the tiny soups (€8 each). When we asked to have the error fixed they said we ordered two soups; I pressed and said we absolutely didn't; then they said that the soups are too small to share so they gave us two of them. So after I pointed out that they upsized my order at their discretion they refused to take it off the check. So we fully paid while still protesting, and of course taking back the small extra tip we were going to leave (beyond the one automatically built into the bill in all places in France). I don't blame someone for a communications error, but I would have expected a half decent restaurant to simply take the dish off the bill for the sake of customer satisfaction.

My wife and I are not cheap people and are happy for places that we dine at to fairly make plenty of money off of us. So it blows our minds that a restaurant would decide to engage in businesses by screwing people one small €8 bit at a time instead of doing business honestly, getting good reviews, and ultimately...

My recent visit to Pizza Capri in Versailles was an absolute delight, and I can’t recommend it enough! From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warm hospitality, setting the stage for a memorable dining experience.

Our server, Fred, was the highlight of our evening. His fun and amiable demeanor added a special touch to our meal, making us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. His recommendations were spot on, and his attentive service ensured our evening was flawless.

We indulged in two pizzas - the Pizza Venezia and Pizza Cippolina. Both were a testament to the culinary skills of the chefs at Pizza Capri. The Pizza Venezia was a flavorful journey with its exquisite toppings and perfect crust, while the Pizza Cippolina offered a unique taste that left us wanting more. Each bite was a blend of fresh ingredients and expert craftsmanship, a true delight for our taste buds.

To top off our wonderful meal, we were pleasantly surprised when Fred brought us a digestive on the house. It was a thoughtful gesture that showcased the restaurant’s commitment to exceptional customer service and hospitality.

Best pizza outside of Italy!!! 🥇 Best service in Versailles(thanks Fred!). 🥰Incredibly clean restrooms. They had the self changing plastic toilet seat covers. 👍Giant Lefe was ice cold! 🍺 1L. My family each ordered a pizza 🍕 and they were delicious. Pizza came with 3E salad 🥗 it was tasty. I chopped mine up and it was even better. One daughter ordered Fettuccine Al Chorizo and it was the best red sauce she has ever had!!! (She hasn’t been to Italy😏) Some of us ordered the Italian red wine 🍷 and loved it. The staff was super friendly. They spoke English, Italian 🇮🇹 and French 🇫🇷 Fred even played games with us and was very funny! At the end of the meal they treated us to Italian Ameretto digestives- I think because of the bonding. It would be well worth purchasing! Delicious sweet ending!!! I would get that again!!!! VERY REASONABLY PRICED.
