Elit Restaurant — Restaurant in Tbilisi

The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the lamb. Well presented and cooked however, the service was pretty atrocious hence I've dropped a couple of stars.

Firstly I was sent to the wrong floor (the reservations floor). I was ignored when I stepped out on to the floor so asked a waiter where I should sit. He just looked at me like I was an alien from outer space and seemed baffled that I wanted to sit down and eat some food.... at a restaurant!

Soooo many members of staff just standing around but nobody comes to take your order. I spoke to one of the members of staff walking past and he just completely ignored me and carried on walking! I had to ask 2 additional waiters before my order was taken.

Of course, the same nonsense happened when it was time to get the bill. I had to ask 3 people this time before the bill was brought to the table. The subtotal of my order was 36 GEL. I put 40 GEL on the table. After waiting 5 minutes, nobody had come to take my payment. I called a waiter over. I gave him the 40 GEL. He didn't seem to understand the concept of me trying to pay for my food despite me showing him the bill 🤦🏾‍♀️

I recently visited this restaurant and had a very disappointing experience. The food was absolutely terrible. Everything they brought to the table was cold. I ordered a ‘rise and Kebab’ and the rice was completely cold, leftover, and stale. The peppers, tomatoes, and kebab were all cold as well. When I mentioned this to the staff, they said they would bring me extra rice. They brought me warm rice, but it still wasn’t enough to make the meal enjoyable. I even approached the cashier and told them how cold the food was, but the cashier didn’t respond at all and just placed the bill in front of me, asking me to pay. I asked to speak with the manager, and surprisingly, the cashier claimed to be the manager. They didn’t apologize at all for the terrible food and just pushed the bill towards me. I was so frustrated at that point that I just paid and left, feeling extremely dissatisfied. I had a very bad experience at this restaurant, and I strongly recommend not visiting it. Customer service is quite bad in Georgia in general. And food quality can be spotty. This restaurant was one of the better and more consistent restaurants as far as food quality, with minor ups and downs but relatively stable. Customer service was not very good especially for English speakers, but was tolerable. That is, until I ordered delivery one day and they sent me the wrong order. I sent a photograph to the courier service (Bolt Food, whose customer service was also terrible), and they said they "called the restaurant and they said they sent you the right order". After following up with the restaurant with obvious photos, they took forever to answer and made no effor to proactively fix the situation. So I can't in good conscience recommend this restaurant.
