My Chef Tbilisi — Restaurant in Tbilisi

So my friend and I ordered lahmacun (if you don’t know it’s a very thin crusty bread that has a spread of meat and spices) the food is amazing, Don’t get me wrong the atmosphere is nice even though the couches where we sat weren’t the cleanest, we asked for TWO orders of Lahmacun, and TWO colas, that is it, the server got us the first plate that had 2 breads IN THE SAME PLATE, and after a while, got us the second plate with two breads as well, after we finished the first plate, we started eating the second thinking that this is the second meal, She is the server that worked there for years and she’s the one that served us the two plates meaning she know the portions of one meal and we didn’t think much of it, anyways we managed to get a bite or two and as soon as we did the server came up to us and said “there was a Mistake you have to pay for FOUR ORDERS” it’s like she was WAITING for us to bite into it, needless to say we got extremely confused, and when we try to talk to her, she wouldn’t listen and said it’s OUR FAULT for not noticing, PEOPLE THIS IS THE FIRST TIME WE EVER ENTER THIS RESTAURANT, and we don’t know the food portions, it was EXTREMELY uncomfortable talking to her she kept making faces and SHE was the one to bring it to us and WAITED for us to start eating the second plate thinking this is the second meal and not meal number 3 or 4, when I told her, I’m not gonna PAY FOR YOUR MISTAKE she started giving me even more attitude and called some of her coworkers to talk to us as well, in the end of course I only paid for what I ordered. The staff were extremely rude and if you are a foreigner visiting Georgia 🇬🇪 make sure to speak up, Otherwise they will try to take advantage of you like they tried, to do it with me...

This is one of worst restaurants i have tried in Tbilisi , For many reasons. I ate there 3 times steak and 1 time coffee and dessert.

1- new york steak was so dry while ordered it MW , and it wasn’t tasty, low quality meat is served.

2- Dallas steak was ok but fatty more than meat with higher prices than other steaks.

3- desserts are not worth a try , not as fresh and low quality ingredients.

4- THE SERVICE, we were two persons and received one fork with the desserts, when I asked for a second one we had to wait 15 minutes, at the end i went inside to take it by myself.

5- THE SERVICE , I asked for a fresh juice, waitress recommended to try cherry juice, I believed her and ordered cherry, it turned out to be water , slices of lemon and a syrup of cherry, taste awful. I asked her to change it as the taste is too artificial and sugary, she said “we cant” and kept the juice on the table (I would be ok if she at least spoke to her supervisor to solve it) I had then to order a soft drink. i was charged the cherry juice on the bill.

6- when you ask for the bill you will need to chase them every time. Their prices are so high comparing to the service and quality. managers are doing nothing to solve the problems.

Never try to set outside as the smoking area is too crowded with no air flow.

Visited this place recently with some friends, they had main courses and I did not as I ordered the dessert instead.

Service was good, they were very nice and spoke very good English - one critique I have however is the server did not know the current stock of the desserts on the menu and came back 2 times to tell me because she got it wrong, but she was very professional and apologetic and overall provided decent service.

The desserts are nice, nothing special but they were not over priced, and was great value for money and came out very quickly. The main courses took about 30/40 minutes which isn’t bad considering it was busy.

However, the prices of the main courses (pastas especially) are absolutely batshit crazy, 44 lari for a chicken Alfredo; in Georgia 🇬🇪 this is insanely expensive! There burgers are also comparably...
