Domkeller — Restaurant in Aachen

Went on a rather dreary Winter night and the dark floor level was soon as abandoned for the first floor where a live band were rocking. The atmosphere was much more lively, but the didn't hit the high notes of other nights there. Maybe the rain had just dampened everything... I really liked the place. We went there when visiting some Aachener friends. It's located in the center. Full of people, very cozy and friendly. A lot of choices for beer and the food was good. The music was nice and all in all we had a good time. The only thing I didn't like is that in the end one of us asked for some water before leaving and they charged for more than we paid for the beers. We were tourists of course, we didn't say anything but one of our Aachener friends was mad about that and told them off. Other than that,...

We were a group of around 10 people ordering food. They have a special food menu that they bring from another restaurant. We were forced to pay by cash before finishing our meals and without a receipt. When we asked for the receipt, the person who brought the food started YELLING at us and verbally attacking us.
