It is really hard to describe what I felt while eating at Tajine. I guess "disappointing" and "underwhelming" would put it best. I am really not too hard to please when it comes to food but something more boring and bland I cannot recall to have eaten in my entire life. We had the couscous and the steamed vegetables in tajine as main dishes and both dishes were just pretty much taste free. After the main dishes we had some dessert, which consisted of 5 different kinds of cookies for the sum of five Euros (so 1 Euro per cookie!). We ended up paying 50 Euros for two persons and feeling bad about a only 2 Euro tip for the admittedly great service. That's why the place gets two stars instead of one: the service was great and the ambiance is nice. Doesn't make the food better, though. Went home angry that night, which doesn't happen often. The Club Tajine Marokkanische & Schmorspezialitäten restaurant, located southeast of Aachen, is a great discovery for lovers of authentic Moroccan cuisine. Open late in the evening, it welcomed us warmly at 9:30 p.m. and served us a homemade dish, a real delight that is well worth the wait, a sign of careful preparation.

The dining room offers a subdued and friendly atmosphere, ideal for sharing a meal in peace. The quality-price ratio is impeccable, making the experience all the more enjoyable.

The only slight downside is the parking, sometimes complicated due to the areas reserved for residents. But this does not detract from the quality of the evening. We highly recommend this place for its tasty cuisine and...

The ambiance of the restaurant is good with nice sitting arrangements. Staff is also friendly, but what actually matters is food, which can be anything but Morrocan food. We ordered the lamb tajine, kalb tajine, and chicken tajine. Lamb tajine had a good piece of shank with tasteless gravy. In calb tajine it seemed they used Rind. It also seems they are overwhelmed with sauteed Onions. Chicken had potatoes and peas also. Food portions are good. The quality and taste of the food is not up to mark.
