The best breakfast in Bamberg. The people who work there are wonderful and so nice. Even the Chef (boss) comes out of the kitchen everytime and says hello. The inside shows the history of the Cafe, very nice decorated. There are 2 parking garages within 10 minutes, with a nice walk through the city, much to see. My wife and I eat there often and enjoy it everytime. The Bread is the best...

Ich habe vor zwei Wochen bei meinen Nachbarn einen Weihnachtsstollen von Beckstein probiert. Ich bin kein großer Stollen Fan, aber dieser hat mich voll und ganz überzeugt. Er war saftig, hatte nicht zu viel Zucker und der Eigengeschmack war wunderbar vanillig, fruchtig, weich und rund. Ich habe daraufhin direkt zwei Stollen zum selbst abholen bestellt. Beim abholen bediente mich der Chef persönlich. Er brachte mir jedoch zwei Nuss Striezel. Ich war etwas perplex, dachte meine Bestellung sei falsch verstanden worden und ich müsse die frisch gebackenen Striezel annehmen. Ohne Widerspruch tauschte mir der Chef die Striezel gegen zwei frische Stollen aus und gab mir noch ein großzügiges Stück Nuss Striezel zum probieren dazu. Was für eine tolle, herzliche Geste. Qualität hat nun mal ihren Preis, doch diese hier ist es voll...
