My absolute favourite bar in Wedding! - Good drinks and good food. Very relaxing atmosphere, a super nice owner and nice, helpful staff. The guests are also very open and it’s a good place to get in touch with new people!
However probably the most exiting fact about this place is, that many people report sightings of the superhero “Berverine” (the Berlin Wolverine, who keeps the district safe). Nobody really knows who he is, or if he is called Berverine or Wolberlin, but no matter what, he cares about the district. This one time, the guests outside were minding their own business, enjoying a warm summer night and suddenly, he appeared out of nowhere, calm but with determination he said “shhhhh”, to make them quiet, because it was after 10 PM and Berverine knew that some neighbours had their children already in bed. We went out to this amazing place on a Tuesday evening. When we got there, it was about half full but soon it got pretty packed. We ordered all types of tacos and veggie loaded nachos with some beers. Everything was just delicious. I personally liked the pull pork taco the best, then the beans and finally the chicken. It does not mean anything was not upto the mark. Each taco tasted great, and was beautifully crafted. I surely would recommend trying all of their different tacos.
Service was nice, except it took a while for the food to come. Which I understand, as it is a small joint with few but amazing staff members. So if you in a rush, maybe this is not the place for you. When I went here, I went with a Chilean friend and being from the US myself, we were highly skeptical that the food would be good. Surprisingly, the bean burrito, tacos, and nachos were MUCH better than we thought they'd be. The Indian proprietor does an excellent job of infusing spice and taste into the food! The spicy sauce actually IS spicy (by Asian standards, so you know it is true) and absolutely delicious.
