Angry Chicken — Restaurant in Berlin

In a city dominated by cheap and boring Vietnamese-run sushi spots, even cheaper Döner Kepab shops, and Turkish-owned burger joints (preferably with "meister" in the name), I want to applaud the owners of Angry Chicken.

It takes some courage to introduce new food and make a functioning business out of it. The location helps, yes, but you also have to deliver. And Angry Chicken does.

While not everything on their menu is great (the burger? the bun was way too hard, and the meat not juicy enough), they offer plenty of positive surprises. The curly fries - crunchy and well done. The fried chicken - perfectly marinated and spicy. The soju pop in a bag - delightful as a ginger beer mix.

Small shop, funky colors, Korean-style. 5 stars for the concept, the food, and the guts to do this.

The only thing that makes me angry is that there aren't as many innovative and awesome places in Germany's biggest city as this one. When you're building a business, be smart, be brave and deliver excellent products. Your customers...

I have no idea why this place is ranked so highly. There are a couple of high tops available in and outside of this place. I was very surprised that the music inside was a techno set. As I walked in, I was just talking in the phone and the person instantly asked if I just had walked into a club. I personally liked that aspect as it gave this place a character. Screeching website. Loud sign above the place. The menu is very simple. Chicken in either wings or nuggets. Burger with beef or veggie. And soups. The fridge is stocked with Softdrinks from the EU and Korea. The small bowl of chicken wings one gets for the price is for me personally a bit out of line. The burger and chips combo in the pic cost 10eur for example. The burger was small and in of itself nothing special. The sauce and the spinach were a nice change but nothing else. The sweet potato chips were cold and dry and flavorless. I had 6 pieces of angry chicken and a portion of rice.Chicken wasn't bad but wasn't good either and the sauce was nothing special.Just something you can eat to satisfy your hunger.Rice was tasteless and they didn't even bring any spoon or fork to eat.on top of that I had to wait almost half hour for my order.my friends that ordered a few seconds before me got their order in 10 minutes and their food tasted worse than mine. And last but not least a message to the owner of this place.The conditions people are working there are not really the best(reminds me more of a sweatshop).when I was there there were 5-6 people crammed into a small space with a poor excuse for an equipment(totally unsuitable for that amount of work).Before he starts complaining to the stuff about the food and the quality of the service he should improve the working conditions and get some...
