Asia Snack — Restaurant in Berlin

This is my favorite meal stop when I visit Berlin. Fresh, cheap, fast. A few sitting places inside and some more in fresh air or you can take away if you have a more comfortable place nearby. You can have delicious soups for just 2...4€, main courses with rice or noodles are also worth tasting... large portions 8..10...12€ are enough for 2 persons. Simple, ingenious and delirious... This is not a place to spend nice time but a good option if sudden hunger surprises and you happen to walk by, even late in the night . A charming Asian lady works hard all day long. Amazing! Definitely much better than kebab or curry Wurst shops...

I live nearby so figured I should try this place, though it looks s little dirty and rarely has customers. I noticed something smelled bad while the woman was cooking my order. I carried it outside and my friend immediately said something stank.

He tasted the chicken in the #26 Chicken with Vegetables and said the chicken was bad. I tasted it and he was right. I carried it back inside and told the woman the chicken was rancid. She said no, it's not.

I don't argue these things. There's a reason no one eats here, and I will never return. Sao Mai three blocks away is...

I've eaten at this place several times, tried different dishes and I didn't have any dish that I disliked. The food is really delicious, portions are quite big, prices are very affordable and service is fast. I would give this place 5 stars if they accepted payments by card/phone. It's 2024 and cash-only is unacceptable. They have a card reader (I've seen it myself), they just don't use it. Also, it's difficult to cummunicate with the staff in English so learning some basic German phrases before going to this place would be a good...
