August Fengler — Restaurant in Berlin

Many men harrasing me and my other female friend while dancing. Our male friend tried to friendly pushed them away, the bouncer came to tell that we were too drunk to be there dancing (I am supposed to be that drunk while I am writing this). When I tried to tell him about the harrassment we received, he just answered me, in perfect english, that he was not understanding me. I tried to tell him in german too. I offered him in many other languages but he acted intimidating. He got very rude and told me i was not able to speak german then we could speak outside, so we dressed to do it. I asked if he was racist or if he didnt care about what women had to face in the pub. We dressed up to go outside to speak (my goal was making the bouncer understand what women are facing inside the bar) but he just told me on the door "you told me I am racist", and closed the door refusing to have any civil confrontation.

I dont recommend the pub, it is always full after 7.00 p.m, the DJ is not making a specific kind of music, the bathrooms are dirty and most important, if you are a man you will just find other men that are there to bother w9men, and if you are a woman you will not be able to dance just for fun like in other any Berlin club, because just non germans with no clubbing expierence go there, just to try to speak and dance with women.

ANSWER: Excuse me, LIES? You are telling that it is a lie that men, on the dancefloor, were harrassing us as if we were meat to be sold?? What is the lie exactly, that you acted rude? I will be glad do understand what you refer to with "lies".

I am a girl, 1.64m and 50kg, it was late and it was absolutely no problem for me to go away (And i was not asked to go away, only my friend was). I came to you TO INFORM YOU about the situation on the dancefloor. I came with a smile, certain that i would help other women inside, and helping you to take care of that. Since it is your responsibility. I expected a "thank you for letting me know, i am sorry this happened". But instead, you acted intimidating, when there was absolutely no need, and rude. And now are accusing me of lies, that is a crime.

One star is even too high bearing in mind the treatment my friends and I experienced last weekend at August Fengler. Racism first hand from a male staff member. I emphasize MALE since he dragged all his anger towards me, the only female in the group and very kindly suggested to us to... "GO BACK TO SPAIN". I mean, I really like Spain (even though it is not the country I was born), but if my friends and I are old enough to be in a bar spending our money there, then we are old enough to make the decision of where we want to live and enjoy life. So mate, thank you for your advice, but no thank you! What this guy described as a "betriebsunfall" was what we saw, just his need for -kissing the girl in the wardrobe-. Mate, thank you for making us feel so welcome in Berlin and in your bar, I will make sure I tell all people all know of the lovely time we had at August Fengler! You will get some really nice free publicity. Also, let me congratulate you on your nice German accent, by the way, as an English speaking native I am sure you feel just like at home in Berlin. And finally, you might like to consider your attitude towards women and foreigners, your mama won't be proud! #Racism...
