Zu mir oder zu dir — Restaurant in Berlin

I came here a little while ago with a good friend for a few relaxed drinks, and I absolutely could not reccomend it more.

The atmosphere was incredible, the music, the vibes, the comfortable decor. Amazing.

Above all else, the bartender working (SLYRA) was the loveliest, friendliest bartender ever. Genuinely just seemed so happy to be there, enjoying the vibes. Made an absolutely BANGING gin and tonic (put lemon with the Bombay, instead of those perverts who put lime), as well as some hemmingway shots for me and my pal (so good).

The owners, and the brunette bartender with the glasses, should be absolutely ashamed. 9 of us walked in on a Tuesday night to grab a drink. I was at the bar with my dog to grab a drink and head back outside and she started roaring at us that we were committing animal cruelty bringing my dog in there (because it’s a smoking bar). The absolute disgraceful carry on to accuse a dog owner, and a randomer, of animal cruelty. What was 8 people buying a drink turned out to be 0. Not exactly ideal losses to be making on an empty Tuesday...

The venue looks like the lounge zone of a club: with flashing mirror balls, muffled red light and a mix of club music done by a real DJ sitting near the entrance - probably this makes the place popular. What is uncomfortable are the sofas and seats that are done close to the ground and where it's more comfortable to lie on than to sit and to talk to friends.
