Papa Nô — Restaurant in Berlin

Got food delivered, pho, wan tan soup, summer roll and sushi. Food arrived 20 minutes faster than arranged which took us by surprise.

While the portion size was good the flavour in every dish was lacking.

Sushi was very rice heavy, not well made. Definitely can't recommend the crumbed and fried sushi. Tiny amounts of fish. One serve came with wasabi, the other didn't 🤷

Pho came with a good amount of noodles, broth and beef. Meat was haphazardly cut and flavourless, lacked herbs, especially basil for distinctive flavour, broth very middle of the road, no spice at all, tasted like the pho paste from the shop. Summer roll was huge but stuffed full of rice (?), once again missing fresh herbs, very bland. Dipping sauce was just salty, no sweetness. Very odd, like eating salty rice paper with lettuce.

The huge portions meant we didn't go hungry but for almost 40 Euro without drinks the flavour of all dishes was disappointing and I personally wouldn't...

Never again! We ordered through liferando. The food was very basic, except for the miso soup, which was disgusting and we had to throw it out :-\ it was very sour, impossible to eat. Everything was spicy, even when it didn't say so on the menu and even when we specifically asked for the kid's food not to be spicy, it was full of chillies. The pad Thai noodles were stuck to each other, creating a big lump of noodles. The spinech dumplings were tasteless, half burned and covered in fried flour. The peanut sauce was average at best and...

They have a varied selection of items that make it more likely for everyone to find something that they will enjoy here. The food was good, and the portions were sufficient as well.

Service was friendly.

The only thing is that I am not a big fan of the interior or atmosphere of this place. They would benefit from changing up the indoor tables and chairs (which were not so comfortable). But obviously, that’s just a matter of...
