Juki — Restaurant in Berlin

Short form: I wish I could give this place less than one star. The waitresses and owner are extremely unfriendly and the food is mediocre at best.

Long form: We reserved a table for 3, when we arrived we were asked to wait for 30 minutes then given a tiny table for 2. We had to wait for another 20 minutes until our order was taken. We kept being promised a bigger table while we waited for our order to arrive. When one of the waitresses finally joined another table to ours to give us more space, another waitress came and snatched it from us forcibly. Then she promised to move us to a bigger table, which never happened. We asked for our side dishes to be refilled, as it is stated on the menu that refills are free, but the refill never arrived even after we reminded another waitress of the issue. Once we finished eating our order we asked one of the waitresses to explain to us one of the orders of the neighboring tables since it looked really good, she only said the name of the dish in Korean without providing further explanation. When we asked for an explanation she shouted at us and used extremely unfriendly body language to show us the item on the menu. Then she left without taking our order, so we had to talk to another waitress to order the dish. After waiting for another 30 minutes our second order never arrived and our sides were never refilled. When we went to speak to the owner/manager, we realized that our bill included items we never ordered and he did not even offer us a discount to repay us for the terrible experience they gave us. Only go here if you want your dinner to be nightmarishly...

The food was great, good option for diversity, the waitress was nice and the price is reasonable, would give this place 5 stars but it ended on a really bad note, when we finished our meal I drank the last of the water I had left and to my unpleasant surprise there was a piece of glass at the bottom of the cup, when we confronted the waitress about it she was very sorry and went to speak with the manager but instead of offering a compensation the manager was simple sorry and said she doesn't know how this happen, we instead that this is not alright and could of ended very badly if the glass piece was swallowed and the response was an offer of a soujo shot or a soft drink, we did not want to have another drink from a place that had a glass in their water and had to continue insisting on a compensation until they gave in and offered to take off a small amount of the price we needed to pay for the meal, personally I was still not happy with that but arguing with the manager wasn't appealing to me, especially after we had to insist on any kind of actual compensation. Very sad and disappointed that this is how the evening ended, very poor handling of the manager with the situation, especially considering how dangerous it was. Bottom line you can eat here but be careful of what your drinking or don't drink...

It was a beautiful Monday evening when we decided to have dinner here the next day. Unfortunately, this choice was a bit disappointing.

Our expectations were too much as we had heard from a friend that this was a good restaurant. We had the Try It 4 meal with chicken, beef, squid and pork. The first thing we noticed was the clumsiness of such a menu. We were with five people and we were seated at a table for four people. When the 2 Try It 4's need were placed on our table there was no room left for our drinks and also little room for the side dishes. We had to put our drinks on the floor and one of our drinks was even later knocked over by one of the waiters, we also had to pay the full amount for that drink, which was not a cheap thing. It was in fact more than 4 euros for that 'large' drink of 400mL. This was certainly not the only expensive thing about the restaurant. The amount we got from our menu was little, especially for the expensive price. It was quite tasty, but nothing special.

Overall, the portions were way too small for the cost. The space and service were not well thought through. So take this review as lucky, it wasn't bad enough for a 2 star, but not for a 3 star either. For this time we round...
