Berlin Pub — Restaurant in Berlin

Was a great experience - Guiness was nice - barman and barlady who served us were very pleasant and easy to talk to - very attentive. We speak no German unfortunately - even so it was very easy to communicate with these lovely people. I read in other reviews that they don't take card payment - this was not true when we were there - card payment was accepted without issue. We spent several nights there and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere very much indeed. I would venture to say that this a proper pub! Stopped in for a pint after a long day trawling around the zoo, ended up staying for several hours enjoying delicious local beer at a decent price (€5ish), chatting to locals and having a laugh. Mario was great and taught us some German phrases and fed us Schnapps, along with some other regulars sat at the bar. We were made to feel very welcome and would definitely recommend. Her hostility and rudeness were absolutely unacceptable, leaving us feeling disrespected and unwelcome.
