Bob & Thoms — Restaurant in Berlin

This is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever visited. I went here with my partner on our first vacation abroad in two years. From we came till we left, our experience was nothing short of amazing.

We were greeted by Oliver who showed us our seats. It is an intimate venue with few tables, but enough air and space that we had every moment for ourselves. From the moment we sat down we could instantly relax due to the atmosphere and energy in the room. We did a bottle of chardonnay with our tasting menu and it was a good fit for all dishes regardless of protein, proving that a good selection of wines on bottle can compensate for a wine menu. Oliver moves around the room with such ease and takes such good care of every person present.

Felix was in the kitchen and worked his magic, every dish so thought out and balanced while still holding some elements of surprise. Portion sizes, plating, aroma and flavour were all 10/10. At the end of every tables’ meal he came and greeted the guests and it was so lovely to have a chat with the chef.

Oliver and Felix have created a lovely space where their passion really shows and is present in every detail. We are so glad we found this place and will for sure be back for our next visit to Berlin. Thank you so much for a lovely night!

This restaurant is superb! We dined as a couple on 18/10/24. We have eaten at many Michelin recommended restaurants and several one starred restaurants. In our opinion, this restaurant deserves a star.

The restaurant interior is simply decorated, well lit with an excellent selection of music. Oliver Körber, the host, is personable, knowledgeable and fluent in English. He was willing to answer our several questions and to offer information about the dishes we we were eating. His German white wine recommendation was excellent. Truly, It was as though we were having dinner at the home of a friend.

The food, prepared by chef, Felix Thoms, was beautifully presented, exactly as pictured on the website. The dishes were innovative, varied and utilized ingredients that provided a new culinary experience for us. The portions were small, as expected, but generous. We had a very memorable night at Bob & Thoms restaurant 🩵 All the courses were so unique and amazing… The creativity and the taste harmony of each course will surprise you every time! And I definitely had my best veal tatar there.

The staff are very hospitable and do their best to make sure gusts are having a very good time. The restaurant has a lovely and minimalistic design with the just right number of gusts. and they were extremely kind to put up our balloons and make our birthday celebration even more special. They also brought us a little cake and candle as a kind surprise in the end! This beautiful experience was above my expectations and made our special celebration unforgettable. I loved how they activity took part in this celebration like a family and made it even more extraordinary ✨

I would definitely recommend this beautiful experience to everyone. And I would go back...
