The croissants are bone dry and the cakes clumpy-sandy! The most notable strange thing being: I asked for a cold brew, which I was promptly informed is not served in winter. However, I could choose from the other cold coffees on offer. So I ask if they have ice - response to which is a yes. So, I ask for an iced americano. Told it’s not possible but what’s one the menu. Ok so I ask if I can get a double shot of espresso with an ice cube, to which I’m met with: I can’t. So when I enquire what exactly is the holdup, I’m told different types of beans are used for hot coffee and cold coffee. So, was it not possible to use the beans for the cold coffee and put an ice in?! Later, unsatisfied with the logical gameplay, I asked again at the table what exactly is the story of not being able to put an ice cube into a cup. To which (!!!!) the answer was: we don’t have ice in winter! We...

So it's a lovely little place to sit and pass some time working or with friends. The apricot crioissant is delicious.

Great playlists, the tea is really lovely but damn the coffee is mediocre and feedback (delivered in a friendly and positive way) was met with a rude attitude from the staff. I live close by so people often want to stop in because of the reputation (they often agree with me re the quality of the coffee) and unfortunately this has been a repeated experience.

Like I don't mind bad coffee if I'm in a rush but not when it's delivered with pretentiousness and a big price tag.

So by all means go and have a nice sit down but go elsewhere for the coffee, there's several other places...

Overall, it is my fav in the area. Not totally amazing, but Very good Cappuccino was great, they give you a glass of water together with the coffee. Greatly appreciated. Yet, only 1 sort of beans. Croissants look good, are missing the crisp, otherwise quite nice. As for now, it is very humid inside the cafe, feels like ventilation is not working. The outdoor sitting is not comfortable, chairs are shaking badly on the pavement, also cold as they are metal. would definitely help to have pillows for the chairs in the colder weather. Upd: now they have blankets, but shaking ia still a problem, drinks are spilling with a light touch...
