I feel bad for the people who got impatient and left the queue because they missed out on some amazing food! I got the hausmeister with mushrooms, bacon and cheese, and it was rich and filling. The chips are also thick and delightful; fluffy on the inside with a little crunch (over €7 for both). The line was long but I had checked the Live updates on Google Maps before going, so I knew it would be busier than normal. Despite this, the service was very fast and if you grab a beer (because almost everyone in Germany has one in hand), you'll have something to do while you wait! If you're lucky enough to get a table, enjoy car-watching while you eat. If not, ask if you can join someone else's table! Sure, we're in the midst of a global pandemic but no-one here seems to be afraid. Thankfully, there is sanitiser for those who want to keep clean and safe, and you can wear a mask in the queue. For those who are environmentally conscious, I would like to point out that I was impressed with the little amount of plastic! The food comes in paper containers and there are wooden forks available. They sell drinks but I assume your beer wouldn't come with a plastic straw. @deeyandrax

I was there on a Saturday night so waiting time wasn't exactly short. I waited for about 20 minutes in line. Actual burger preparation time, though, was pretty okay (≈ six minutes). The burger itself was very nice. I got one with two patties and often enough double patty burgers taste too meaty. Not so this one. I liked the texture as well as the taste of the patties. In fact, the entire burger with all its ingredients was pretty well balanced such that I could definitely taste all burger components without a single one being too dominant (not even the jalapeños). Basically the same can be said about the French fries. I had cheese and bacon fries, and neither the cheese nor the bacon were dominant in taste. I don't know if I was just lucky and the burger chef just happened to use the right amount of everything or if they always use pretty much the same quantities of the ingredients, but at least that particular Saturday night my experience was much better than I anticipated it to be. Thumbs up and definitely worth going - if you can survive the waiting time during peak hours, that is.

In my opinion, it is the most overrated place in Berlin! Yet, it is the most advertised and must-go place in many video guides in YouTube and more! I totally disapprove of the place they located the store in the first place - in a former public toilet! The connotation alone does something to your appetite! The seating is mostly for standing and not for sitting yourself and that goes only for adults because children cannot possibly climb on a metallic bar that is used mostly for locking your bicycle in the street! The prices are high and nothing extraordinary in taste. I regret now crossing the whole city to get there, only to taste a mediocre burger and pre-fried frozen pommes fritters. I am sorry not to have anything positive to say about the particular place.

My go-to burger joint since its opening! No-frills food of great quality at a very reasonable price.

My usual order consists of a cheeseburger, cheese fries, and a blueberry cheesecake cookie. The in-house baked brioche bun is soft, buttery, and toasted on the cut side. The smashed-style patty boasts amazingly crispy edges, and the veggie toppings are always fresh. The fries are thin-cut and crispy, remaining good even when reheated the next day in the air fryer. And last but definitely not least, the cookie 🤤 It's a thicc, doughy type of cookie with a luscious cream cheese filling, and the cookie dough itself is dotted throughout with juicy blueberries. The best part? When I place a delivery order, the cookie always arrives still warm!

Just a bit disappointed that the food is more expensive when preordering for pickup. The cheeseburger costs €5.60 instead of €4.90 on-site. Please note that I preordered through their in-house ordering system on their website, not through third parties. But no biggie, fortunately, I live nearby. However, it would be handy during peak times.

Mmmh... time for another round of...
