Subtlety of spicing, portions appropriate for the number of guests, service I’ve only experienced in a 5 star restaurant on other occasions. Byblos is a treasure! Ate here twice while in Berlin. White walls and coffered ceiling with a gentle pink and blue lights create a clean modern interior that let me easily read the menu. Well-spaced tables set with white and bisque cloth, and sharply folded napkins felt elegant from entry. Staff quickly adjusted for large or small groups. Enhanced by the solo pianist on the first occasion. Service was fast, friendly, and efficient. I’m a stickler for both waitstaff and kitchen that monitors how quickly I’m eating and doesn’t just bring starters to dessert in one massive buffet. I and my friend were allowed to eat, relish, and marvel at each bite served at the proper temperature. Meal one we shared fish and rice platter for two. We debated over the deliciousness of the spice blend on the shrimp. Marveled at the variety of fish and how each was cooked to moist perfection. My friend is not big on rice but he cleaned every morsel from the platter. Vegetables are crisp and fresh. We even marveled as the cherry tomatoes burst with flavor. Separate desserts and starters. I had the nonalcoholic Coconut Kiss both meals. Not cloyingly sweet but light, and refreshing. Impressively decorated with fresh fully ripe fruit and a beautiful large mint sprig. The beverage enhanced the food mellowing the slight heat when required and enhanced all the flavors. Eating solo, the lamb and rice dish from Mom’s Kitchen listing on the menu was a treasure. I concluded Mom was a genius. Food so good I asked if the chef was married. He’s not but if he’s willing to cook like this for me every day...

Tonight I had the pleasure of dining in a restaurant that I can only describe as absolutely beautiful. As soon as I entered I was mesmerized by the stunning decor and atmosphere. Not only was the restaurant visually appealing, but the food was absolutely fantastic. Every dish was expertly prepared and full of flavor. It was obvious that the chefs took pride in their creations and every bite was a delight to the senses. The menu offered a wide range of options to suit different dietary preferences and each dish was a work of art.

The service at this restaurant was first class. The staff was attentive, friendly and efficient. The service was also impressively quick, so we didn't have to wait long for our food. One person who particularly stood out during our visit to the restaurant was the Owner. He went out of his way to make our evening even more enjoyable. He was not only professional and knowledgeable, but also incredibly friendly and personable. He took time to chat with us and make sure we felt welcome and appreciated as guests. His presence really made a difference and added a personal touch to our restaurant visit. Overall, we had an incredible time at this restaurant. The beautiful atmosphere, fantastic food, first class service and friendly manager all contributed to a memorable evening.
