Café Krümel — Restaurant in Berlin

I ordered a oat milk latte and when I tasted it, I told one of the staff (the oldest, Italian, maybe the owner?) that it was a bit watery and that I could barely taste the coffee - all of this in a nice way. He shouted ‘so what do you want?!’ Honestly I got shocked, I wasn’t expecting an aggressive response in such a nice looking/pricey cafe.

Then he asked if I wanted another shot of coffee and I agreed.

To my surprise, he added the extra shot to my bill, which ended up being 5.2€ for a latte!! I couldn’t believe it! specially because it tasted like nothing at first and they should have offered a better product.

I felt so ripped off and negative about the treatment, I’m never coming back...

Tried to order a single espresso in a larger glass and the owners were completely confused. Probably thinking that’s not fair for me to pay the price of a single espresso but have it in a larger cup and maybe mix it with cold water or another type of milk that they don’t offer at their establishment. Would love to understand this logic. Anyway, had to pay 3,90€ for a milk coffee – without the milk – just to get the glass! First class...

Plenty of gluten free cakes, I try not to go there because I always end up eating too much delicious cake! But when I feel down - definitely my go to for cake as I can't usually have cake anywhere else...
