Coffee Stop Wittenbergplatz — Restaurant in Berlin

I thought I would die of old age waiting to be served. Two people in front of me, 3 coffees, four muffins. I could feel my life slowing ebbing away as I waited. To say service was a snail’s pace is an insult to snails, its glacial. Regarding the food and drink, it’s a coffee stop by the entrance/exit of the u-bahn opposite the tickets machines. What do you expect? It’s average. It would be a good place to ‘grab and go’ apart from missing several trains while you wait. This was at 12.40-12.45 approx on easter Saturday, not that busy. I had an absolutely delightful experience at Coffee Stop Wittenbergplatz! The iced matcha with strawberry puree and vegan whipped cream was incredibly delicious. The avocado toast was a standout, with the avocado and the sandwich freshly prepared on site, topped with fresh ingredients and extra toppings, and the lemon zest on top added a special touch. I also enjoyed a piece of vegan cake made with banana bread, nuts, and berries - it was simply divine.

Located right across from KaDeWe and at the entrance to the Wittenbergplatz U-Bahn station, this café is perfectly situated. The owner is present and personally serves the customers with great friendliness and ensures excellent service. The only thing I missed was decaf coffee, but the owner kindly took my feedback and was very friendly about it. Highly recommended!

Ich hatte eine absolut wundervolle Erfahrung im Coffee Stop Wittenbergplatz! Der Iced Matcha mit Erdbeerpüree und veganer Sahne war unglaublich lecker. Das Avocado-Toast war ein Highlight, die Avocado und das Sandwich wurden vor Ort frisch zubereitet, belegt mit frischen Zutaten und extra viel Belag, und die Zitronenzeste obendrauf machte es besonders. Ich genoss auch ein veganes Stück Kuchen, das aus Bananenbrot, Nüssen und Beeren zubereitet war - einfach köstlich.

Gegenüber vom KaDeWe und am Eingang zur U-Bahn-Station Wittenbergplatz gelegen, ist dieses Café perfekt positioniert. Der Inhaber ist selbst vor Ort und bedient die Kunden sehr freundlich und gewährleistet einen super Service.
