Der Bäcker — Restaurant in Berlin

Don't know what the other reviewers are talking about. We got a surprise bag from Too Good To Go, and when we went there, we politely greeted the service lady. She did not respond from the kitchen, but came to us with a grim face and then, only then said a short hello. After awhile, she handed out a big plastic bag with bread and two sandwiches/Brötchen wrapped in plastic.

The bread really isn't something special. Even the supermarket version is like a Michelin grade food compared to this. Why is that even called a croissant? The only redeemable quality is that it does remain edible. It doesn't taste bad, but it doesn't taste of anything either. Not even butter.

Ich arbeite direkt ums Eck, war hier in den letzten 10 Jahren auch einige Male da. Da die belegte Brote Auswahl sehr überschaubar ist, wurde ich mit dem Bäcker nie warm. Heute dachte ich gehe ich mal wieder rein und musste feststellen, wie eine Mitarbeiterin während ich von jemand anderen bedient wurde, von den überbackenen Käsebrötchen den Käse abgebrochen, gegessen und das Brötchen wieder zurück ins Körbchen legte. Ich war hart am Überlegen mein belegtes Brötchen zurück zu geben. Wer weiß viele Scheiben Ei schon fehlen? Das fehlende Wechselgeld hat dann noch die ganzen Angelegenheit abgerundet. Nicht...
