Highly recommended joint as they serve the famous Sizzling BiBimbap and a bucketload of kimchi variations and to top it off weekly specials that just do not seem to disappoint.

I luckily was one Of The few to jump into the restaurant when it first opened up during the second quarter of 2015 and 2 years down the line it tastes the same as it did back in 2015.. The consistency is something to admire as many joints loose this a few years down the line.

The BiBimbap is The Star Of The joint and the crispy burnt rice at the bottom Of The bowl is literally to die for. A small note: Ask for a raw sunny side up egg and not a cooked one. The raw egg eventually firms up due to the steam giving the BiBimbap an awesome creamy texture.

Menu is concise and straight forward moreover the couple running this joint pay close attention to detail and customer satisfaction. One hell of a BiBimbap...

I am a big Korean food lover and cooker and unfortunately did not enjoy food in this place at all. Very small menu and the "chicken bulgogi" tasted incredibly bland and boring. The soup we were served was also very bland and oily with some unchewable vegetables.

On top of that, one of my friends found a piece of hard plastic (at first she thought it was glass) in her soup. Which made us feel very uncomfortable with what we've been eating.

She said it to the owner, who apologized several times, admitted it was dangerous, and brought her a beer and an orange as an apology. I kinda felt bad for the owner as she seemed quite sick/high(?) and acting in a strange/unwell way.

Anyway, I would definitely not return and unfortunately can not...

I really like the avocado bi bim bap, love the situation — outside under a tree in good weather, or inside often with awesome loud alternative music. I mean really alternative — contemporary cowboy grunge, 1930s acoustic blues, sometimes even German. The service has always been super friendly and interesting though a little slow and chaotic. Now they’ve switched to qr code ordering which I despise though I guess I hope it works out for them. I couldn’t get it to work because of a stupid apple problem, but fortunately someone else paid for me. The food did come fast, but with an egg (I usually ask for vegan) and a sizzling stone pot (I always ask for a regular bowl if it’s hot out.) Also the music never came on....
