Last Saturday was in the restaurant for a lunch. First of all, the service was very bad. After 10 minutes, I stand up from my table and picked the menu my self. After some time the service appeared. On the menu can be found different types of "mezze". Since I like very much the Israeli Cuisine, the decision was to take "Tel Aviv" plate. After 15 minutes arrives the plate - great deception. No hummus, babaganoush, labaneh or other typical Israeli plates. No I was served with Rosti (Swiss potato galette) with some salmon on the top; over-salted chickpea salad and marinated chicken with mango sauce (there is a very nice fermented sauce named "amba" with mango, curry; it is quiet tangy and spicy) that was super sweet. Everything was served with baguette bread ; so no pita. And everything for nice 19 EUR. This was the first and the last time that I go there. I would suggest you to go and eat in Zula or Kanaan. Read moreMet friends here for dinner, I was very excited to try Israeli food for the first time! The manager was welcoming and friendly, but the staff members could use little bit of customer service trainer as it was difficult to get their attention. We were a bit early, so we ordered Hummus while waiting for our friends. The homemade hummus tasted great, but they seem to have replaced the Matza Chips (in the menu description) with two small breads, which was way too small for such a huge portion of hummus, so we had to keep asking them for more bread, which took a long time to arrive. We also ordered the Jerusalem Grill and a Mezze Mix, both were delicious, but they put a lot of hummus in both dishes again with very little bread to eat with. Overall, the restaurant has a good vibe, the food is good middle eastern food, but not extraordinary, the service can use a little bit of improvement. I wouldn’t mind returning and trying...
Read morePortion sizes are not the best in relationship to the prices you pay. In terms of execution it was quite inconsistent as well. We ordered the coliflores appetiser and the shrimp. Shrimp was very good, but we got 7 pieces, for 12€ it’s not a good serving. Coliflores was supposed to be roasted, but it was actually boiled and then thrown in the oven (based on taste and look). Then we got the Jerusalem plate. The chicken was mind blowing, I really enjoyed it and the serving was good, the kofta was a bit dry but was a good serving as well. The description of the plate is that it had vegetables, dips and falafel as well, in that case we got, one piece of falafel, one piece of aubergine, one small piece of paprika and one small piece of zucchini, and a decent serving of tomatoes. I will come back and test some other things, but first visit was...
