Dunkin' Donuts — Restaurant in Berlin

If I could give this dunkin' donuts a negative five, I would. Speaking as a veritable dunkin' donuts addict, this place should not even be called dunkin' donuts. If I were dunkin' donuts HQ, I would immediately replace the owner. This guy is tarnishing your brand ever so bad. I may actually look into reporting them to HQ after this review.

So I had the worst customer service experience of my entire life here last week (along with around 15 other poor souls). I waited 20 minutes for two iced coffees. This is to be expected as they had 3 people working the registers with 1 person dabbling in giving out doughnuts/hot coffee and 1 person making the coffees and other food items. The owner obviously only cares about taking people's money and not filling orders.

So what happens then naturally? An angry mob forms. The guy beside me was waiting 20 minutes for a COKE! (yes, the ones in the fridge). The best part was that they took his receipt to follow up on his order, but then never returned it to him. Then 5 minutes later when they obviously didn't do anything about his order, he was saying where's my stuff and they were like, where's your receipt? He pointed at the guy who took it so the guy said he didn't know and it seemed like he denied even taking it!

As to the coffee, it was crap. The caramel sauce is not the same as the caramel swirl in America. The bagel wasn't too bad. My advice, come here only if you're desperate and it's at an...

I don’t know if it was bad timing or if it’s normally this bad but this store seriously needs to sort their $h!t out, iced chocolate and an iced latte with almond milk, that’s all I ordered, the two girls working had an argument about what I ordered and when I reminded them I needed to repeat it 3 times before they actually understood (the staff spoke to each other in English so I spoke in English instead of german) then after 20 minutes my coffee was made, with the wrong milk (luckily it’s not a severe milk allergy or I would’ve been in trouble) I asked again for almond milk, the girl nearly had a breakdown before I said “it’s ok, don’t panic, just make my coffee please” I also informed them there was a spillage and the bin is overflowing, 25 mins later, the store is empty, I’m about to leave and nothing has been done about it. This experience cost us €11 and we won’t be back, probably to a Dunkin’ store...

I haven’t been to a Dunkin Donuts in years and thought I would give it a shot.

I’ll start by saying that I am happy to see that they offer a range of vegan donuts and carry plant based milk. This is really great to see and it’s nice as an option if in a pinch.

I got an iced latte and it was mediocre. There really wasn’t any ice in it and and the taste wasn’t super impressive. I got a strawberry filled donut as well. The donut was tasty but only when comparing to large chain donut shops. Nothing special.

With this being said - if I was in a hurry, I’d stop in for a donut but would be a bit hesitant on the coffee. When the summer arrives though I’ll maybe give the cold brew a shot and see how that is.
