Living in Berlin would love to stay in the hotel to feel the atmosphere and to have art experience. The idea was to come once a month for 1-2 days and get different rooms with different art. Went few times to the bar in the hotel and really love the place. The hotel positioning itself like art hotel with art in every room. We booked the room for the rate of 400 euros per night that is a lot for Berlin. 1. Arrival no one helped with the bags and after all we were given the room without Art. Sorry? When we go back and ask we were told that some room without art yet because the hotel opened only September. At the end we managed to have the other room with art but the room itself was (((( 2. Room. Simply no place to put the clothes. Everything open and inconvenient. 3. Bathroom very small. Almost no toiletries( shower cap for ex), no robes. 4. Room cleaning. Poor service of the cleaning the room. We went to play tennis at 6 a.m. came back at 11 a.m room was as we leave it and even towels were not changed. 5. Breakfast. Time 8-10.30 a.m. 8 a bit too late but ok. What can you expect from the breakfast for 32 euros per person in Berlin? At least some croissants, salmon, fruits, fresh juice. Usually the bread basket is something that you expect on the table at 5*Something you can get even in nice 4* I can’t simply find anything in the menu. When I asked if I can have avocado and salmon I was told the hotel opened in September and they still don’t have it…. So even the breakfast was payed I went to Einstein cafe. We asked if we can cancel the breakfast at least for second day but they say no. I truly believe that for 62 euros it’s possible to provide slice of salmon croissant and fresh orange juice…… 👎 6. Bar. Sommelier was good. Cocktails. Wine by glass is ok but the prices for the bottle were outrageous. For more or less ok wine min price 150-200 euros 7. Internet. connection was really poor( couldn’t connect most of the time. Every 3-5 min have to try to connect again. Speed- super slow even when I was lucky. Connection is fine in the bar area. 8. View. View from the room only on construction ((( at least we have to know about that in advance. 9. Check out. Good thing- I asked to help me to send the letter and that was done. People were polite at the same time I was super impressed when I asked few times to help me with the luggage but was never done. Have to carry 4 bags .. so was really stressful. P.S. art in the first floor is nice, bar is stylish. The level of hospitality is very different.
