I recently had a meal at the restaurant, Rotes Kamel Berlin, and I would like to share my experience with you. While the atmosphere was pleasant and the service was friendly, there were a few issues that detracted from my overall satisfaction with the dining experience. The first issue was with the timing of the service. While the staff were friendly and welcoming, the wait between courses was quite long. It was difficult to maintain the momentum of the meal when there were such long gaps between courses, and it detracted from the overall enjoyment of the experience. Additionally, while the presentation of the dishes was impressive, the quality of the food itself was not as high as I would have expected. Some of the dishes were overcooked, and others were under-seasoned, leaving them with a bland taste. It was disappointing to have such an underwhelming culinary experience, especially given the high expectations that come with dining here. Lastly, the menu lacked variety, and there were very few vegetarian or vegan options available. As someone who prefers plant-based meals, this limited my options and left my vegetarian friends in a bit of a limo feeling somewhat unsatisfied with the meal. Overall, while the service and atmosphere were positive, the issues with the timing of the service, the quality of the food, and the limited menu options left me feeling underwhelmed by the dining experience at Rotes Kamel Berlin. I hope that you will take this feedback on board and work to improve the restaurant for future guests. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, Disht

The restaurant is located in the central part of Berlin. It is easily accessible by car or public transport. If going by public transport, U Mohrenstrasse metro station is the nearest one and the restaurant is at 5 mins walk from this metro station. The staffs are welcoming and friendly. The restaurant has indoor as well as outdoor seating arrangements. The outdoor seating is arranged in a way that even on cold days one was sit here and enjoy the food. It is not very spacious insidee as well as outside. We chose to sit outside but it was not very comfortable as the tables were entangled with one another. However, one of the staffs arranged another table and made it comfortable. The service was quick. The restaurant specializes in lebanese cuisine. The food served was prepared with fresh ingredients. However, the flavor was missing from the dishes we ordered. The price is a bit on higher side if compared to the same category of restaurants.

We visited Restaurant Rotes Kamel for the first time and were truly impressed! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was exceptional. A special thanks to Mr. Hosein, who made our experience even more enjoyable with his kindness and hospitality. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We ordered the Premium Platte Babilo, a delicious grilled platter perfect for four people. The meats were cooked to perfection, juicy, and full of authentic Lebanese flavors. The selection of sides complemented the dish beautifully. To accompany our meal, we enjoyed a refreshing limonade and finished with baklava, knafeh bil jebn, aschtaliye, and halewe—each dessert was a perfect balance of sweetness and texture. The black tea (Kanne Schwarztee) rounded off our meal wonderfully. Overall, we had an amazing experience and will definitely return. If you’re looking for authentic Lebanese cuisine in Berlin, Rotes Kamel is the place to go! Highly recommended!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Rotes Kamel in Berlin with my future wife, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, the ambiance was warm and inviting.

What made our evening truly exceptional was the outstanding service provided by our waiter, Hatoum. His knowledge of the menu and genuine enthusiasm for the cuisine were evident as he guided us through the selection of dishes. Hatoum's recommendations were spot-on, and it's clear he takes great pride in ensuring that guests have a memorable dining experience.

The food at Rotes Kamel surpassed our expectations. Each dish was a culinary masterpiece, highlighting the restaurant's commitment to quality ingredients and expert preparation. From the appetizers to the desserts, every bite was a delight for our taste buds.

Avoid this place if you can! Let me explain why:

First, the food is mediocre and overpriced compared to the Berlin average. The service was passable, at best. Things started to seem questionable when they brought over two small bottles of water that were ALREADY OPEN. The water was clearly tap water, yet they charged us €3.50 for each bottle. But the worst came at the end. But the worst came at the end. When we asked for the bill and requested to pay by card, the waiter brought over the card machine without a printed bill showing the cost of what we’d ordered, and charged us €200, which one of us paid. When we asked for the printed bill to split it among ourselves (we were 7 people), he stalled and only reluctantly brought it over. Imagine our surprise when we saw the actual total was €179—not €200. In other words, he’d taken his tip in advance. Seeing my expression, he even had the nerve to offer us free shots.

We might have left a tip on our own. But it wasn’t our decision to make.

From what I’ve experienced in Berlin, this sort of thing is unfortunately common, especially in places like this, where tourists are treated with disdain, disrespect, and as easy targets for small scams. It’s disappointing to have these types of experiences pile up over just a few days’ visit.

PS: What you see in the picture, chicken chops, is about 19€ by...
