Falafel Amara — Restaurant in Berlin

Music way too loud. Not enjoyable.

Edit: I revisited it and I definitly won't do it again. No loud music this time, but they served over-fried falafel-balls, in fact so much that other customers looked quite sceptical at them while I was cracking the outer fat layer. Their taste was like their appearance. Pretty disgusting.

And the waiter touched the fork and knife at the top with his hands. You don't do that. I put the fork in my mouth. I don't want other fingers in my mouth.

I come here every week because this man makes the most delicious hummus I’ve ever tried in my entire life. It’s incredibly good. I have tried many other places but nothing beats this one. I would love to know his magical recipe. I’m addicted!

The place’s hygiene standards could be better, and he could be nicer and smile every now and then, and so on -but I forgive everything as soon as the hummus lands in my palate.

I hope this place stays in this street forever. This man knows...

I work nearby and I have eaten there once a week for few months now - I was never disappointed! The best falafel and makali in the whole Berlin, taste-wise and price-wise! There are vegan options, and comparing to other places in Berlin they have the best bread/pita. And the service - don't get me even started, these guys are the best - always smiling, ready to help, in english or german, they can sense if you are in the right mood for a small talk or not :D...
