Perfect spot for work space, lunch meeting or afternoon coffee. I came by with my daughter in search for a late lunch. The restaurant is filled with people, either chatting, working on their lap tops or doing meetings, we felt very welcome stopping by as a family. The place is big and offers different areas. You can escape to a quiet room. They have a beautiful outdoor space. My daughter was greeted by the very kind staff and ran around in the courtyard while I waited on our food. I saw the cool advertisement in the street and checked out their nice website and invited family to join for lunch. The portions where small, the food was not really convincing, all four meals and they were presented without appeal to the eye. The prices were too high as well. I was asked how I liked the food and i mentioned my disappointment. Das Konzept klingt gut, das Menü ist ansprechend, die Fläche sehr schön. Die vegetarische Auswahl ist sehr gut, vegane Optionen gibt es zum Mittag auf den ersten Blick nicht. Etwas ungewöhnlich für ein nachhaltiges Bistro.
Zudem bedarf es wohl noch etwas Organisation. Wir sind mittags hungrig gekommen und nach einer Stunde wieder hungrig gegangen, da scheinbar überhaupt kein Essen vorbereitet war. Beide zur Not zum Mitnehmen genommenen Gerichte waren dann nicht mal vollständig (einen Salat mit Kürbis ohne Kürbis, Pasta mit getrockneten Tomaten ohne getrocknete Tomaten), ein Teil der Bestellung wurde sogar ganz vergessen.
Dabei empfinde ich gerade zur Mittagszeit einen reibungslosen Ablauf enorm wichtig, wenn man nicht gerade gerne 1,5 Stunden Pause macht.
