I have given more than 50 five stars reviews so I don’t define myself as picky but this has been one of my worst experience in Berlin in terms of service.
Most probably due to a really bad waiter.
We were 6, the waiter put us the pressure coming every 2 minutes to ask our order and feeling annoyed we hadn’t decided yet. Sorry I had a family not speaking German or English with me and I was trying to deal with the translation.
Then he was not able to take a proper order: he forgot one meal saying we ordered 2 pasta Gorgonzola when we actually ordered 3 (we were only 6 so it is not that hard to count and make sure we have ordered for 6). He came back 2 minutes after with one pasta Gorgonzola that had a totally different sauce than the 2 others. We made them notice and they admitted they did it quickly.
Then I had ordered pasta with mushroom and wine sauce and the pasta arrived with additional bacon: I am vegetarian! They told me it was because the previous card had bacon in it and the kitchen did a mistake.
They offered to change it but we had already received delayed ordered and I didn’t want to throw away food so I ate it.
The manager said he is very sorry and this should really not happen.
I was expecting they would offer us one meal in the bill but they count everything and instead, they brought us a plate of desserts we didn’t order while we had a kid who was already tired and needed everything but an extra plate of sugar (and they had a tiramisu with alcohol and they didn’t mentioned it until we asked and our kid had already eaten some 😡).
It was my birthday today, and the whole mess...

Located in the Tempelhof-Schöneberg district, this restaurant has everything it takes to succeed! We were warmly welcomed and seated at a simple table in a dimly lit area. The decor is simple and understated, reminding us of the Italian restaurants in the movies. However, the proximity of the individual tables did bother me a little. The food was very good. I had spaghetti with baby calamari and my partner had kalsleber with mashed potatoes. It was all very tasty but for my dish I think a thick sauce to accompany the spaghetti and the squid would certainly have enhanced the flavour. Otherwise I would say that everything was superb. I'd...
Read moreIf you ever come to Berlin and miss out on visiting this Italian restaurant, you're truly doing yourself a disservice. The food quality, the restaurant's atmosphere, and above all, the staff's attitude were beyond excellent. The gentleman who took our order and seemed to be in charge had such an incredible passion for his work—it felt as if he had been dreaming about running a place like this even before he was born. It was like he was born to do exactly this, with a natural talent and dedication that’s...
