Thank you for confirming that you secretly record your guests without consent and proudly announce that the video is “always available at the bar” — that's not “protecting your business,” that’s a blatant violation of privacy law. A sign on the door is not a legal basis to showcase customer footage to others.
As for the health issue: everyone in our group had diarrhea after visiting your bar. That’s a fact, not a feeling.
You also threw in a deeply inappropriate comment about whether “our Asian bodies” can handle alcohol. That is not only offensive and racist — it is unacceptable.
we never yell at anytime, We were having a normal, joyful conversation — like anytime would at a bar. We came to enjoy drinks, laughter, and time with friends.
As for the spilled drink — yes, it was an accident. One of us offered to clean, but your staff did it. Don’t pretend that handing over a mop is some kind of saintly act.
Finally, if your idea of “quality over quantity” includes publicly shaming guests, mocking their race and health, and keeping unauthorized videos for show — then you’ve truly shown everyone what kind of place you are running.
I won’t waste any more of my time replying to your comment section nonsense. I sincerely hope you continue to “serve” your customers with the same attitude you’ve shown here — it speaks louder than any...

Oh....., so it was your group that night. I read the bar's response to your review. I can't speak for all the other points, but we were also at the bar that night, which is our regular spot on karaoke nights, and our health was completely fine after we got home.
You might want to reconsider what you ate before coming, just like the admin mentioned. Or, if you really want to be fair, you should see a doctor and get a medical certificate to prove your claim. That would be more credible than just making vague accusations.
Regarding the noise, I think it was genuinely too loud. Usually, our group stays until the bar closes on karaoke nights, but that night we actually had to leave early, and we were really disappointed. It might sound a bit harsh, but I honestly found your group incredibly annoying.
I'm glad we won't have to see you at the bar again next time. And honestly, not ever again. Thanks for not...
Read moreI visited GEM on a friday night in hopes to find Karaoke, however we were explained that it’s not Karaoke bar, they only host occasional events! So please be aware of this if google maps also indicated “Karaoke bar” it’s not, but we met with utmost hospitality and friendliness from barmen Tommy thus we decided to stay! We had PHENOMENAL espresso martinis, the right glass, texture, foam, bittersweet aftertaste. My friends were also quite drunk and loud at the times, but Tommy came to our table as a friend and made us fee welcome to enjoy ourselves without needing to constrain the happy loud loughs. Tommy deserves a pay raise, period. But recommend the bar for anyone looking inclusive and laid back atmosphere with “classy” interior and high...
